Chalets à Beaworthy

« Very disappointing stay , We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding , We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,) Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready , I thanked her by tx but no communications back , nothing from Wayne all week , I would of expected a follow up chat asking if...

« We stayed at no 5 lake view. The property was very dirty. No Internet connection. We couldn't complain at the time as we arrived late due to traffic. No hot water for shower next morning. Towels too small and old. Kitchen area unclean. Outside decking filthy. Tea towels and fridge unclean and smell »

« Bon accueil. Parking disponible. Chambre confortable. Pub agréable. Bonne cuisine et bon petit-déjeuner. Bien situé pour visiter le parc du Dartmoor. »

« We stayed for a wedding just outside of the village and it was just perfect. The lady on reception last Saturday (17thOct) in the afternoon /evening was great, so informative and took our photo no problem. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. The radio in the room was also a nice touch instead of a tv. Thank you. »

« Très joli petit cottage, une maison pour un prix intéressant avec une belle decoration. Lit king size et salle de bains privative dans une chambre. Par contre canapés tâchés et ménage pas terrible : traces sur les vitres, miroir salle de bains sale... »

« Lieu vraiment très agréable, chambre superbe, on s'en souviendra ! »

« A character historic pub in a nice rural location, although roads are very Devon and narrow in places! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good food and service with a selection of beers with real ale under gravity from the cask. Very popular with diners on a Saturday night. Room reflected the nature of the property but was clean and comfy. Good selection and quality for breakfast. Went with trad English but kippers and salmon on offer. »

« Beautiful location in a traditional thatched cottage village. Full of character with two cosy fireplaces. The staff were beyond kind and super friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. First class cuisine from chef Nico, with great range of spirits including many local brands. »

« L’hôtel est vétuste et mériterait d’être rénové. Cela- dit, la chambre était confortable le personnel chaleureux et le petit déjeuner très bon. »

« Pas d'eau dans la douche en 3 jours, wc bouchés, pas de papier toilettes de réserve, et le dernier jour il a fallu attendre dans un couloir que la fille du petit déjeuner arrive 25 minutes en retard. J'attends une compensation »

« I can’t fault Tim & Gill’s cottage. It was excellent. Everything you needed was available. Basically apart your own belongings she supplied towels, washing up liquid, foil, salt & pepper etc., You are welcomed with fresh flower's on the dining table & the most lovely scones, jam & clotted cream, fresh eggs(from Gill’s own chicks) & milk. Amazing!! Everything spotless clean. Have already stayed a second time & will be back next year. »
