« What a beautiful place: stunning views, family friendly walks, short walk to Woolacombe along the the coastal footpath (no roads) and the other stunning little beaches on the way ( especially loved the ari lankan restaurant at baricane beach. Host was lovely and the property has a new hot tub - heaven! »

« Was a beautiful location just perfect for us. The property was perfect size and the host was wonderful just was a little damp inside, think they have mould problems being close to the sea but for the price cant really complain too much. Thanks for the shortbread we really had a good time. »

« Nice well equipped property with the facilities needed to use it as a base to explore the area and have day trips out from. Good communication from a nice host with suggestions to visit the area and a nice welcome pack which was a nice touch. Property has a freezer which isn't listed (but no ice maker which is listed), a good selection of games and DVDs for the TV in the 2nd bedroom. Good facilities at the site although no facility to pre-book general swimming sessions so might be worth going...

« We stayed in this location many years ago when it was a static caravan site. It has improved since then! The lodge is situated among similar buildings in a quiet, well maintained site. There is plenty of parking. (You need a vehicle, as Salcombe and other attractions are not within easy walking distance).The lodge is comfortable, well equipped and nicely situated, at the edge of the park with a partial sea view. We enjoyed our stay! »

« Plus sides: next to the Donkey Sanctuary and the ability to cook for yourself. Now for the downsides. Where to begin? *Couldn't get into contact with the owner for check-in, arrival times, code to the key box or anything. Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. No apologies, not even his/her...
