Véritable escapade sur la côte nord, Gull Rock Ridge se trouve à 200 pieds au-dessus de la rive du lac Supérieur sur 22 acres privés. De grandes fenêtres intérieures encadrent la vue et de vastes terrasses extérieures, tant au niveau principal qu’au niveau supérieur, permettent de voir le lac, d’observer la faune, de bronzer et de regarder les étoiles.

Activités de plein air attendent; Trois des cinq plus grands parcs d’État du Minnesota sont situés à moins de 10 minutes de Gull Ridge, y compris le phare de Split Rock, à seulement 1,5 km. Faites du vélo ou promenez-vous le long du sentier d'état de Gitchi-Gami ou faites une randonnée sur le sentier de randonnée supérieur; tous sont facilement accessibles depuis la propriété.

Gull Rock Ridge peut accueillir huit personnes avec un lit king-size dans la suite du propriétaire (avec salle de bains attenante) à l'étage supérieur et deux chambres à l'étage principal, chacune avec un lit queen et une salle de bain commune au rez-de-chaussée. Un lit gonflable haut de gamme est également inclus.

Dans le cadre d'un plan d'étage ouvert, la cuisine est un rêve de chef, avec des comptoirs en granit poli, des appareils haut de gamme et des vues sur le lac. Dînez dans la cuisine, avec des sièges pour 4 personnes autour de la péninsule, ou profitez de la vue panoramique à 180 degrés sur le lac Supérieur depuis la table à manger pour huit personnes. La salle familiale du rez-de-chaussée est entourée d'une cheminée en pierre au gaz, offrant des vues tout autour. Plusieurs ponts, y compris un coin salon pour huit personnes avec un barbecue, surplombent le lac énigmatique en constante évolution.

Everything regarding this property was perfect. The view from the house and decks were gorgeous. An open floor plan made it nice for our family of 7. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable. The close proximity to many outdoor activities made it convenient. I would book again if in the area.

This home has stellar natural light, and stunning views of the lake. The rooms were all comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend! Easy access to nearby hiking was also a huge plus.

What a view!!!!
This is a quite retreat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle of life. Beautiful view of Lake Superior, no neighbors, woodsy, clean, and well stocked. It is close to the Splitrock lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls, which we enjoyed very much. After a cold hike, warming up with the fireplace and coffee was just the ticket. I would recommend this place if you really want to relax.

Perfect Home Base for Our Special Weekend
My new husband and I and a few of our friends rented this place for our Wedding weekend on the gorgeous Minnesota North Shore. Let me just say the house and the views were absolutely breathtaking! It's very cozy and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The kitchen was great for cooking our own meals. The deck perfect for star gazing. We even saw the northern lights one night! It's conveniently located close to a number of great sightseeing locations and was honestly the perfect home base for us. We are happy to be home after a long weekend away but we definitely miss the lake views and the beautiful sunrises. I have no doubts we'll be back and will look to book Gull Rock Ridge on our next trip as well.

The house is beautiful. When we arrived, the house was very hot inside. We opened windows and used fans, which helped, but we had a couple elderly family members which didn’t do well with the house temperature and we all could have used air conditioning. There are mice digging under the flashing house at the edge of the main deck - the pole nearest the patio door. They have created quite a mess of chewed debris piled by the pole. The mice scamper across the deck mostly in the evening but we saw them during the daylight as well. The upstairs toilet seemed to be leaking from the back causing some standing water behind the toilet. We appreciated the lengthy and detailed communication before our arrival on directions and other information. That was very helpful.

Our stay was very nice! comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and a beautiful view! It was nice to have a highchair provided for our granddaughter as well. I was worried about the steep driveway but it did not pose a problem for either of our vehicles, an SUV and a sedan.

Beautiful home and views. Owners were very hospitable. I only wish the second floor (master bedroom) was heated. It got very cold. But I would stay here again and just bring a heater. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

4 wheel drives are highly recommended we got stuck in the driveway in our Chevy Equinox and had to call a tow truck. Ruts where pretty deep. Low to the ground vehicles not recommended. Home was beautiful and clean, decks provided a beautiful views. Property was well kept and had some great hiking experiences.

North Shore Family Trip
We usually stay at a hotel when we visit Duluth and Two Harbors, but for my 40th birthday I wanted to do something special with my husband and three boys (10, 8 and 2). Our VW Atlas SUV made it up the hill with no issues. The cabin looked exactly like the pictures and the views were amazing. The house was so clean and welcoming. The king bed was comfortable and we also used the new sofa bed. We used the multiple decks to view the lake, ships and the sunrise. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. I made french toast for breakfast and found an electric grill pan the next day, oops! After visiting the nearby state parks and beaches, we would sit and relax in the living room. There is a firepit onsite but we decided to visit the Split Rock State Park and had fun roasting hot dogs and making smores right next to the lake. The hosts had great communication. We made many happy memories during our stay and our planning on coming back again in the future!

We loved our stay here. This home is truly beautiful and the view is extraordinary. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We explored the wonderful North Shore during the day, and cooked our meals in the well appointed kitchen during the evening. Then, of course, you can enjoy the food while gazing out at Lake Superior. We had a marvelous time!

We were very pleased with our stay at the property and would rate it among the best properties that we have stayed at on the north shore. The view of the lake was incredible and the property is very secluded. The drive to most of the must see parks was very short. We were able to get up the driveway 9/10 times in a Kia Sedona minivan. The one time we didn't was when I was shy on the throttle at the bottom, as other reviews say the key is to get some speed at the bottom and keep it going all the way up. The app on my phone put the grade at 21% at the steepest point. There is no air but it stayed very comfortable with outside temperatures in the upper 80's and there we several fans in closets that could be used. We enjoyed playing several of the board games provided while it was raining outside. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for making meals and there were even two wine openers. The garage made coming and going very easy and cut down on the amount of bugs that could hitchhike inside. The small amount of road noise was not an issue for us and we had no trouble sleeping. The beds were very comfortable. Thank you!

We had a lovely trip to the North Shore and this was the perfect place for us. Clean with plenty of space and everything we needed. Description of property is very accurate. Hosts provided great recommendations for things to do and see while we were there. The view was amazing! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
