« We could bike anywhere we wanted from this property-to mountain bike trails, to Ludington State Park and beaches, to downtown and to Buttersville Peninsula. We also liked that it was at the beginning of the historical homes walking route. The beds were very comfortable and the surrounding gardens, koi pond and library were a nice feature. »

« Terrible experience. This is my first public comment over 30 years of travel. Extremely noisy elevator bell located right in front of the room (which is not mentionned upon booking). Rambling noise starting a 4:30 am probably due to washing machines. I do not bother commenting on the rest. A hotel which does not guarantee proper resting should not exist. Avoid at all cost. »

« The Lake View Hotel is just beautiful inside and out, with obvious recent updates to the furnishings and decor which completely compliment the historical significance of the property. The location can’t be beat, as it is right across the street from both ferry lines but also at the end of the shopping area and close to the boardwalk which provided an excellent viewing area for the gorgeous sunsets.
