Lovely stay at Baska Voda

We had a lovely stay at Baska Voda for 1 week. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Perfect with own bedroom for the children. Short distance to the Tommy store and other supermarket across the street. And bakery just down the road. Took us about 6 minute’s walk to the beach. Could be a bit traffic on the main road, so keep the little ones close. We used the curtains on the balcony when we sat outside in the evening, so the traffic was not that annoying. Loved the stay and will hopefully be back next year!

Baska Voda a stunning village on the Adriatic coast , wonderful holiday, lovely apt .

Baska Voda beautiful village and promenade on the Adriatic Coast, lovely restaurants, friendly people , great for couples and families. Modern apt , car parking , and two supermarkets, bar/coffee to sit out and people watch. Would highly recommend.

Nice apartment only 5 minutes from the beach

We had a lovely time in Baska Voda and we very happy with the apartment. Located close to the coast road it was we placed for the bus and tours with hire car. we did not have any problems with noise seeing as it was so close to the road. The apartment is less than a minute walk to two supermarkets. We used Tommy which had most things we needed. The apartment was very suitable for our party of two adults and two children with good facilities for cooking and relaxing, and nice and cool inside. The apartment is not right by the beach (5 minutes walk) but this is not a problem as we spent most of the day there so did not need to return to the apartment. It was good not to have to clean the apartment on departure or to have to bring our own towels. We used the parking in the garage in the basement for our hire car which is both secure and out of the heat. Baksa Voda is a good location/town with all the things to do that Markaska has without the crowds or distances.

Fantastic place

Lovely spacious and well equipped apartment. 1 minute walk from supermarket and within easy reach of the most beautiful beach. Baska Voda is a super town with loads of character. Very friendly and safe place. Rosemarie was fantastic and made our holiday very easy. Perfect communications throughout with lots of useful info up front and caring 'check ups' throughout. Arranged a pick up from airport to apartment plus a very helpful local to look out for us when we were there. She couldn't have done more to make our holiday perfect. Thank you 😊

Roomy, clean, comfortable apartment

Had a great couple of weeks here. Apartment was plenty large enough for four of us and secure parking a bonus if you have a car as we did. It was clean and well equipped with more or less everything we needed? Only one criticism was how warm the second bedroom was - there is a ceiling fan but this seemed to just circulate the warm air. We were lucky enough to be there for two very hot weeks so this probably wouldn't be so bad in cooler weather. Location was away from the centre but we enjoyed the relative quiet and the daily walk. View of the supermarket from the balcony was not the greatest view but was fine and certainly could have been worse. Having two supermarkets and a bakery on the doorstep was actually a bonus. Baska Voda itself was lovely - we definitely made the right choice with the location. Scenery is stunning and the seas really are as blue as they seem in the photos. The 2km walk along the beach path to smaller beaches/coves was definitely worth it. Plenty of lovely places to eat, especially Mars, Victoria, Karlos and a fabulous fish restaurant as you walk into Promajna. The fresh fish dishes were great. Plenty to do - we did rafting, canyoning, Bibe boat trip and as we had a car we did Split, Trogir, Omis and Imotski (red and blue lakes). However, could have done plenty without a car as transfers are available for all activities. Rosemarie was most helpful from beginning to end, always available for assistance and her suggestions and recommendations were spot on. Would definitely recommend Baska Voda and this apartment. We will definitely be back to Croatia.

Baska voda great location

Wonderful holiday in a stunning village with so much to see and do. Beautiful promenade, lovely sea to swim in. Many excellent restaurants .Great apt with everything you need for self catering including wifi and aircon.
