A classic French apartment in the L'Antiga Esquerra De L'Eixample neighbourhood centrally situated in Barcelona.
When you walk in, you will see dated details such as the ceiling and doors. The high ceiling has a beautiful structure.
It has a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and two Catalan balconies. The apartment is on the second floor with an elevator and has a living-dining room, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher, a dining table, TV and free WiFi internet. It also has two balconies overlooking the famous and busy street Gran Via de Les Corts Catalanes. The bathroom has a shower and one sink.
We provide all the comfort and service that may be needed, but we also know from experience that a client renting an apartment seeks privacy and tranquillity. The apartment is located in L'Antiga Esquerra De L'Eixample, a historic neighbourhood. This neighbourhood is very popular among students because of the many bars and pubs, but there are also a lot of stalls with fresh fish and tapas. It is very close to the university, Placa de Catalunya and Casa Milá. From here you are very close to different metro's and bus stops that can bring you to a lot of nice places in the city, for example la Sagrada Familia, the beach and Camp Nou.

-This is an antique and so an old building. The bathroom is basic and doors and frames have been affected over the years.
- Please note that there is reconstruction work taking place in a neighbouring apartment, which may cause some noise daily after 9:00 AM. This work is expected to continue until the end of August / September. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

All guests are REQUIRED to fill out a pre-arrival form and SIGN a rental contract before their stay. These steps are MANDATORY to ensure a smooth check-in process and to comply with local regulations.

For your comfort we will answer you in your preferred booking platform's chat on workdays (mon-fri 9:30 am to 6:30 pm). - Check-out: Always wrap things up by 11:00 AM.

- Before you make moves to the apartment, give us a call about 30-45 minutes before. No app calls or texts please, just hit us up with a regular call.

- Need help with bags? Check out "Luggit Service" - They can pick up your belongings and deliver them at 15:00 at the apartment, so you can explore the city in the meantime ;)

- Remember to send over IDs of all guests before arriving. It's a local rule we have to follow.

- Make sure outstanding amounts are squared away before you check in.

- Don't forget about the tourist tax – Barcelona's tourist tax fee is 6,88 EUR. per person per night

- When confirming the booking, it is required to sign the rental agreement contract.

- Baby on board? No problem! We've got free baby cots, but give us a shout when you book. For the safety of your baby, there are no sheets, pillows or additional mattress in the cots, only the regulated mattress that comes with all travel cots.

Stay in Barcelona

This is a classy older apartment in an ideal location for exploring Old Town Barcellona on foot. The interior of the apartment is well above average for a rental, with a nice old-fashioned interior decor that is well maintained. As others have noted it is on a very busy street, but the windows facing the street are very solid (with mutiple panes and solid shutters) and are quite effective at keeping the noise out when fully closed. The walls are quite thick (which also keeps noise down) and the inner windows of the apartment open into a large ventilation shaft that helps with air flow. The unit also has an air conditioner, which we did not need as we were staying here in October. Communication with the owner and management company were excellent, and although somewhat small the kitchen was perfectly fine for cooking breakfast and dinner for the four of us. We were very happy with this rental.

Perfection

This apartment was perfect for us in all ways. This was a trip to Barcelona with my adult sons, ages 22 and 26. At this time of year, the air conditioning was an absolute must, and it worked really well. It was furnished nicely with all of the necessary things to make meals at home (which we almost never did!). It faces a busy street, but the window coverings block that fairly well; we slept without disturbance. WiFi worked without any trouble. And the location was central to virtually everything - close Metro stop, easy taxi stand, and cafes on virtually every corner, all of them quite good. There is a small market right next door for coffee, water, milk, eggs and bread, etc. Highly, highly recommend. We didn't want to leave!

Great location, wonderful property

Location was fabulous. Many small markets and restaurants with all-day kitchen hours nearby. Easy walking distance to Plaza Universidad, Plaza Cataluña and Las Ramblas. Taxi stand nearby. Walkable charming neighborhood.

Not what was promised

Disappointing because the location is great and the apartment was nice, however......both balconies are under construction. You can't use them and the workers are LOUD in the morning. If you want to have your coffee inside, with dust and banging hammers then book here. There is no mention of this on the site so check before you book. Also, they will ask you for your flight time, and even if you ask for an early check in, it won't happen. In fact, they were 3.5 hours late to let us in the unit from when we requested. 30 mins late when they 'assured us' someone was on their way. This, like many VRBO's, this unit is run by a management company, not a host. As such, the service is not personal. Super disappointing start to a great trip in Barcelona

Wonderful place in a central location

The place was a wonderful spacious apartment that was conveniently located to so many spots and public transport. Very clean and brand new renovated bathroom. Everything you need as a tourist. Great location with much to offer just outside the door.

Tolles Ambiente, perfekte Lage

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete, für eine Erkundung der Stadt ideal gelegene Altbauwohnung mit viel Flair. Und wer es nicht beim Erkunden belassen will, sondern in der Stadt des Jugendstils gerne auch "authentisch" wohnt, liegt hier genau richtig. Wir haben uns jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt, die Betreuung/Kommunikation war erstklassig. Sehr zu empfehlen!

schöne geräumige Fewo, sehr günstig gelegen

idealer kann man kaum wohnen: 2 Min. zur U-Bahn, und 2 Min. zum Flughafenbus, 15-20 Min. zur Rambla zu Fuß und damit zu den vielen Lokalen in den angrenzenden Vierteln. Liegt an einer gut befahrenen Straße, aber dank der Schallschutzfenster nachts ruhig. Wohnung gut ausgestattet und sehr wohnlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Neo-classic Charmer

We had a flawless experience with this property. From choosing it to communication to confirmation to stay. It’s a European apartment throughly. Great place to call home for any amount of time. A long stay is not a problem as the amenities are provided for. The only issue we had was sofa in living room had front kickboard falling off. Easy fix a couple of new screws or a new sofa bed. But really it was not a problem at all. Location was great, balconies fantastic, views onto Gran Vias! We will recommend and stay again Raymond

Great location

The host was very attentive to our needs and touched base with us regularly through their app. I packed earplugs so I don’t know if the traffic was noisy at night. Great breakfast spot right at the corner. Beds were comfy, and would have liked a few extra pillows for added comfort. Blackout shutters were great at keeping the room dark. Would have been helpful to have a fan for the twin room as the AC didn’t quite cool it enough. Building has lift which was helpful for all our luggage.

Great apartment

This apartment is accurately pictured, a classic older Spanish apartment, high ceilings, great light, good location! The company was very responsive by email prior to our arrival, check in went smoothly. I would stay there again when in Barcelona again. The location is great, easy access to the metro, with many shops and cafes. Though it’s on a Gran Via, the solid windows and wood shutters cut the outside noise out. There was a room AC in the living room that could also keep one of the bedrooms cool. The other bedroom was hot, and it was only May. As an American using European appliances, written instructions would have been useful. Perhaps this is typical for apartments managed by companies, but other than a few spices, hand and dish soap, there were no other supplies. Paper towels, foil, a kitchen sponge, dishwasher detergent, would have been nice. Those are minor suggestions, it’s a great place!
