Perfect location

The location was perfect. The apartment was great with the exception of the noise, which was noted in previous reviews. Even with earplugs, it was impossible to sleep in the front bedroom next to street. Walls are thin and you hear everything! We did laundry, but the dryer takes forever. They provided a drying rack which was helpful. No kitchen towel was provided so I would bring my own next time.

Perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. From the initial meeting to get a tour to the location, all the way to check out. When I travel back to Barcelona, I will be staying here again.

great location

We enjoyed having the well equipped kitchen as well as dining out. The living room was comfortable for all 6 of us. Great view windows overlooking the city. Would appreciate additional hooks for hanging our bath towels to dry. Would recommend staying in this apartment.

Great apartment in a great location

It was nice to have the metro station right outside our door. Made it easy for getting around. It was a easily walk down to La Ramlas. Lots of little supermarkets and restaurants in the area. Great location.

The property was in an excellent neighborhood! Easy to get around via taxi/metro and close walking distance to many attractions/restaurants etc... The rooms were adequately sized and the house was clean. The noise is intense. The outside noise as well as noise is the building happens throughout the night. Even talking past the noise ordinance hours is questionable because of the paper thin walls. Althought the building was constantly alive with people, we did receive an email that we were to loud and that it was illegal and could be inforced. We traveled with 3 ten year old girls, therefore we didnt realize their talking would get us in trouble (considering the building was alive all night long). So we did squash any nightime activity to respect the home owner. Biggest complaint are the noise issues.

Good location & comfortable

Located in the heart of Eixample (“the expansion”), we found this apartment to be convenient to all of Barcelona, with sites located 10-30 minutes away by foot or less by Metro. The Provença metro stop is literally outside the door of the building, and there are numerous good restaurants nearby as well as supermercats (small grocery / convenience stores). As for the apartment, it was clean, well-appointed and comfortable for the six of us (Mom & Dad along with 4 young adults). The primary shower takes getting used to as you can easily soak the entire room if you turn the water on with the wand on wall mount. But it wasn’t a big deal! Habitat Apartments owns and/or manages the property, and communications (all virtual, none in person) were consistent, helpful and timely. If we return to Barcelona, we’d prefer to stay in one of the older, more historic areas such as Graçia. But this apartment will serve you well!

Alaia P3 was in a great location, spacious for 6 people and very clean! We would deffo stay again. Minor things were; no wifi for last 3 days (but were quick to send someone out and sort it) some little extra touches would be great like: tea towels/oven glove, more cutlery/glassware and perhaps some basic cleaning supplies and spices (some were provided but not enough for whole weeks stay) and a clothes drying rack so can do some washing. Would rate overall 8/10.

Great Location!

Very pleased with this property. It was just as described. The location is excellent. There is a Metro station right outside the front door and other locations are within a few blocks. Lots of restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance.

Great Xiample Location, Weak WiFi

Property is spacious and rustic. Very old tiled floors and ceilings. Kitchen appliances worked well and were modern. Living room furniture was tired with upholstery buttons missing, etc. MBR bath was large, but showering was a challenge because hand wand (the only means for water) wouldn’t attach to wall. Hall bathroom was tiny. Sink vanity was falling apart. Shower hand wand diverting switch was broken/gone, so only overhead water. WiFi was inconsistent and weak. We never found a router inside the apartment so not sure how to reset when it stopped working. We stayed 3 weeks, but with three days left, our electronic key cards (like a hotel) all quit working. It coincided with the end of the month, so I suspect they weren’t programmed correctly. I had to rush to the management office to replace them before they left for the day
very stressful. Location is perfect for accessing all the touristy sites.

Great Stay

The property manager asked for a time when we would arrive and we were within 15 minutes of that time and he was outside waiting to greet us. He showed us around the apartment and was very kind to let us know some of his favorite restaurants and ways to get around town. The Master bedroom is large and has a fantastic onsuite. The only hairdryer is located in that bathroom and it attached to the wall (this involved some rotating in and out of that bathroom). The other queen sized bedroom is a bit smaller but plenty of room for the two of us that stayed in there. The second bathroom is quite small and is even tight for one person, but it suited out purposes and it is great to have a second bathroom and shower. The third bedroom contains the two small beds and would work great for kids or even for two adults that sleep separately. We just stored some of our luggage in that room. The walls are very thin and you are in the heart of the city. If you are a light sleeper, I highly suggest you have earplugs or plenty of white noise as this is not a quit location. It is not that there were people partying in the building, it is just very easy to hear everything from the street traffic to babies in other apartments crying. The in apartment washer and dryer came in very handy and the kitchen was big enough for us to prepare breakfast each morning. The location was fantastic as we would walk outside to Las Ramblas and were right next to plenty of local restaurants. We also could walk to the market and to Gaudi locations and to other areas such as the gothic quarter or the marina. We were also a short walk to public transportation to get to the soccer arena, as we did take in a Barcelona match. Overall, I would definitely recommend this as a location for families or couples traveling together (as we were). We had a great stay!

Big apartment in the heart of Barcelona

This apartment was very spacious and is in a great location. There are some great restaurants near by, and Casa Mia and Other GaudĂ­ architecture are within walking distance. Sagrada Familia is definitely a must see and within walking distance through a safe neighborhood. We also walked to the Gothic Quarter, but it's a few miles away so just be prepared to walk a lot if you choose to do that. Apartmentt was fairly clean. The hosts were responsive and we enjoyed our stay very much. Note that if your plane is delayed at all you need to tell them at least 3 hours in advance so that you aren't charged extra, they meet you at the apartment for check in so they need to know exactly when you're arriving. It's also worth noting that the streets here are called "carrer" instead of "calle", so keep that in mind when you take a taxi to the apartment.

Great location, nice property!

Great location in a safe neighborhood with Metro station right outside the front door. Beautiful, spacious interior. Elevator/lift only worked during part of our stay, but the 2 flights of stairs weren’t bad. The only negative was the amount of loud noise (from other tenants slamming doors, etc. within shared corridor/common stairwel and at all times of the night was the noise of dragging chairs & footsteps across the floor from the tenant above). Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable in this clean, well-appointed space.

Ótima opção

Apartamento muito bom, excelente localização, muito confortåvel, limpo e espaçoso. Apesar de possuir um banheiro pequeno, a suite é muito boa com um banheiro grande. Os quartos são confortåveis e recomendo 100%.
