Wonderful place to stay foy your visit in bar harbor and acadia park. 2 min road to bar habor village. 15 min road to acadia park. Room with view on ocean side. Very good Complimentaty breakfast to start de day. Best hotel to travel with young kids. Little park. The bistro is very good and many restaurant nearby.

The staff were amazing! Rooms clean, updated, and great location. Perfect for kids with both indoor and outdoor pools. When we come back to Bar Harbor it’s where we will stay!

Absolutely liked everything. Friendly Staff, everything superclean, beautiful spacious room with balcony and spectacular view. Excellent breakfast buffet, real dishes and silverware and so many attendants replenishing food and cleaning up. Also had dinner at the Bistro one evening. The salmon was the best in a long time. Nice touch was having umbrellas in our building in case of inclement weather to walk to main building. Weather beautiful and we did not need it.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Property seemed to be under construction in some areas, but overall very clean and nice. It's a little bit of a walk to the Bar Harbor shops and restaurants (25 minute walk/3 minute drive), but parking is free and so is breakfast! There is a restaurant on site that we did not eat at, so I can't review, but the breakfast was good and convenient (hot & cold choices). Hotel is right off the beach; highly recommend splurging for the ocean view!

Our stay there was amazing! Everyone was very nice and easy to approach! The room and amenities better than I was expecting and the view was awesome! It it so close to downtown Bar Harbor as well as the entrance to Acadia! We will definitely be coming back!

Hotel was lovely for my visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Convenient to the park and to downtown Bar Harbor. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic.

The hotel property was at the waters edge. Well maintained. The room was clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Just a short walk to town. Acadia National Park is a few miles away.

This is a clean, quiet hotel near Acadia National Park. The service was wonderful. The breakfast variety was very good. The only drawback of staying in the newer building is that you have to walk outside to go to breakfast and use the indoor pool/hot tub in the main building. Overall, it’s a great place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor.

Overral a pleasant 3 night stay. Nice view. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was high quality, presentation included. Petra-Gaye at check in offered our 5 year old a plush raccoon. Very nice touch. Therevis also a small play area with slide and swings, which came in handy. Very pleased and will return in the future.

The continental breakfast offered for free was amazing. It was more than a typical continental breakfast providing several egg dishes and amazing home fries. The wait staff was very attentive, and the dining area was pristine.

All the staff were so warm, friendly and inviting, even engaging with our kids! I would return here again and again just for that! Combined with the beautiful view from the balcony, a great daily breakfast, and the indoor pool and hot tub, this was easily one of our favorite hotel stays ever.

I was staying for two days with my family and we had a great time. The view, the breakfast, and the cleanness. The only complaint is the soundproofing of the room. We were staying on the first floor (third in their building) near the entrance. You could hear all the noise from the hallway in the early morning. I guess you don't need to set the alarm to wake yourself up.

Place was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was quite good. I had omelet from omelet station a bagel coffee and juice. Rooms were common but roomy for 2 and the bathroom was good size, and the shower was large, hot, and had great water pressure. All that I really want in a vacation amenity.

Great hotel to visit any time of year
The service was top rate from the moment I checked in all through my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well equipped. It had everything I could have needed and more - and the ocean view from the balcony was amazing!

Wonderful weekend getaway to help with the winter"Blahs"Room overlooked the ocean, we felt like we were in a cruise ship looking out at the water every morning .Staff were all friendly!Room was immaculate .Breakfast was delicious.3 mile round trip walk to downtown and pier.Shops were all closed , but we came to see Acadia national Park.Some entrances to the park were closed but we were able to walk at SandsBeach.Weather was clear and sunny in the 40s.Great restaurant "Blaze " was open and delicious.We will be back ! We live in York beach Maine but loved Bar Harbor!
