« We were directly above the bar which had loud music until 1.30 am Easter Saturday night , so unable to sleep before 2 am . Guess we should have joined the party but we were too tired to do so . Apart from that ,the room and services were ok but you wouldn't want to pay more for these standards . »

« Incredibly helpful and polite staff. Advised us where the local walks were and other things to do in the area. We have stayed on many pubs but this is as good as it gets. Many thanks. »

« Could use a bit more out door lighting at night to not be in the pitch black and indicate an establishment is still there but otherwise was a very welcoming experience. »

« It was very peaceful and calm. Place was very clean and neat. Staff is very polite and will help any way they can. The hot tub was very clean, got checked every day and easy to use. The bbq was also easy to use and great added feature. The shower pressure was good and straight forward. It has great security and feels very safe. Just amazing overall. Would recomend »

« We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and everything is really well considered. It has a lovely fireplace with more than ample wood...
