I think this review has been mis-represented OR this guest may have been travelling & have our Motel confused with another one. We have just finished replacing all of our Curtains & completed a deep clean before their arrival. Other guests that have stayed at the same time commented "Updated clean great bedding and the nicest owners you could hope for'"We are very disappointed, if Janine had come to the Office as we live on-site, we could have addressed any issues whilst she was here.

Barbara Waringer-Marsden your story is quiet extorted. We did have you booked in for 5 days and you did know the day before your arrival, as you stated, but instead of contacting us then you assumed you could just arrive and change your booking. The reason you gave turned out not to be valid as when you were offered a refund for the 2nd night even though your booking was for 5 nights, we had turned guests away for the time you had booked and all of a sudden there was no urgency to leave. I did not have someone wanting to stay for multiple night but simply wanted to extend for 1 additional night and it did not upset me you were not wanting to take up the offer of the refund I simply thought I was doing you a favour offering. Another miss representation. The picture on our website are no different to any other motel in town or elsewhere as they are pictures representing the location. As far as our location goes we are located in central Ballina just 1 block from the 2 main shopping centres of Ballina Central & Ballina Fair. Also only 1 block from the hospital and at the end of the hospital block is the Ballina Cherry Street Sport Club (5 minute walk) for which we provide a Members card to allow guests to receive member discounts for food and drinks should guests choose to go there. The food is excellent. In the end it appeared that you simply changed your mind prior to arriving and although we offered you a early refund which you declined and have since distorted all facts in your review. Anyone reading this review should consider all other reviews to get a clear picture of our motel operation and interaction with guests.

This review does not relate to this motel. First of all we do not have shower curtains, all bathroom contain glass shower screens and have been fully renovated in 2020. Kindly see all other reviews. This person hasn't even identified themselves making a false review.

We thought you enjoyed it as there was only a little scrambled egg left. We have never had a complaint about the breakfast guest we speak to say it was great. Sorry you & your partner didn't enjoy it.
