The Space:
Ballarat Bliss by Tiny Away is located in the quiet countryside of Ballarat, just 12 minutes away from the Ballarat Town Centre. Nearby Lake Wendouree, Ballarat Farmers Market, and Learmonth offer great opportunities for walking and cycling.

Sovereign Hill is a must-visit in Ballarat, offering a vibrant, hands-on experience. The cozy 139-square-foot farm stay is nestled by the tree line, facing southeast, with scenic views of surrounding farmlands and nearby properties.

Enjoy the charming location of the tiny house, perfectly situated right across from a stunning, vibrant canola field that bursts with color each season—offering beautiful views and a peaceful, natural backdrop.

All with easy access to water and power, split-air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Generally, the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful, but there may be occasional noise from dogs. For light sleepers, we recommend bringing earplugs for a well-rested stay.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house, and visit the chicken pens and cattle paddocks with prior permission from the host. The only restricted area is around the main house.

Ballarat Bliss by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful town of Cardigan, just 12 minutes away from the nearest accommodation in Ballarat, Victoria. The serene tiny home offers a chance to experience a peaceful country lifestyle, with views of farmers tending to cattle and sheep.

Enjoy outdoor activities around the property and nearby walking and cycling trails. Visit Learmonth for lake access, or explore local attractions like Lake Burrumbeet, Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Botanical Gardens, and Lake Wendouree, perfect for walking or cycling at any time of day or night.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 12 mins drive from Ballarat
- 1 hr drive from the city, Bendigo
- 38 mins from the town, Daylesford
- 1 hr drive from the city Melbourne. All are reachable by 2WD

By public transport:

Guests can access great train services into Ballarat and from there can get a bus out to Lucas. Taxis and Ubers available from Lucas town centre to our property. Ballarat also has electric scooters for people to use to get around.
There is a train service to the rural cities of Ararat and Maryborough from Ballarat and bus services from Ballarat to local towns as well

Other Things to Note:
- Pets are not allowed
- No smoking inside, except outdoors
- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed
- Firewood's free, plus an LPG BBQ grill is ready to use
- Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone have good signals; others have weak signals
- Farm Guidelines will be sent closer to your check-in—please remember to review them.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
