« One or maybe the best hotel with pool at the beach in Arumgambay. The rooms are rather small and basic but OK compared to other places. A fridge would be a nice addition though. The bathroom is also small and basic, and we had a lot of ants the first days (but that is kinda everywhere). « Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes, und leider hatten wir ziemlich viele Ameisen. Hier sollte definitiv nochmal nachgebessert werden. Ein paar Dinge, die ich als Verbesserungsvorschläge hätte: Ein Mülleimer im Bad, eine Badematte, eine Klobürste, eine Seifenschale sowie Duschgel und Shampoo wären super. « Booked this hotel through Expedia prior to my trip, when I landed in Colombo I received a text message from a French (+33) number saying that my booking at The Coconut would be cancelled, and that the prices I had booked were no longer valid! My only choices were to cancel the booking or pay the "new prices" which were 3x higher! I ended up saying I didn't want the booking and found other accommodations.
