Black water coming from the faucet, shower, and when you flushed the toilet looked like sewage. It was disgusting, could not take a shower and brush our teeth. Too noisy early in the morning around 2am because they were doing some kind of repair.

The room was pleasant and large with enough facilities to be comfortable and cool. The staff were told about its lack of attention to detail about cleanliness and such and they really weren’t interested. It’s a shame as it’s the small things that could change this from a 2.5 star to 4 star hotel. Other than that..our stay was enjoyable.

This hotel is old and tired. There was a pervasive smell of mildew in the room. When you turned on the water in the bathroom sink, it came out brown. Although the listing said that therecwas breakfast to order, it was only the Filipino breakfast. Everything else was extra. Even though I had paid Expedia for the room, they tried to get me to sign a credit card receipt for the full amount at checkout. Don't stay here.

Big room and comfy bed!
Stayed one night at this hotel. Courteous staff. Rooms are a bit run down and smelly. Huge parking space in front of the hotel. Good for a one night stay.

Overall the facility was ok except for some area or issue. When open the window curtain and look outside, it is dirty. The toilet flushing water in which the hand held hose for sanitary wash is also connected was appearing to be dirty and dark brown in color. According to the front desk employee it was because the hotel was fully book and there is nothing they can do.

Plenty of parking space. Roughly 15-20 mins walk to Robinson Mall, a small eatery by the mian road just outside hotel. But utterly disappointed that the superior room i booked, which when i check in, was informed by receptionist that it's been taken up by another walk-in guest! Hello?! I've paid online for my room and management gave it to another walk-in guest?? My first encounter on this kind after numerous online hotel bookings. My original room should have a king bed n 1 single bed. I felt so cheated that they offered me a queen bed n 1 add-on single bed. The add-on "bed" was those foldable styrofoam single mattress! I felt so bad for my travelling mates. As we are all exhausted by the time we check-in, had no choice but to accept unwillingly. Had already paid online, else i would have walk out n book another hotel. Bad service with staff giving nonsensical explanations. Room wasn't given any beverages or bottled water. Even instant coffee sachets placed there is chargable. Room has a musty smell n walls looks dirty. As i have sensitive eyes to dusty or moldy rooms, my eyes started to itch after a few mins. Meaning their rooms are not cleaned properly, or well-ventilated after each guests check-out. Toilet is spacious, standard room abit spacious compared to some hotels I've been.

It was a good place closr walk to Robinson's mall and a taxi ride to sm mall. There is the ice bar vertically next door for the party people playying mid to late disco music. The disco noise with the powerful bass can affect the rooms inside the hotel though keep this in mind when booking although the conditioner on room drowned some of the noise out. Its not every night ! If ordering a room, book one down the far side of the establishment is recommended . Great friendly staff , good air con but the room i had did require some maintenance here of there typicall of the Philippines but overall was a pleasant stay.

The reason why we chose to stay in MO2 in Bacolod is because we’ve been to their branch in Coron. We have experienced a high quality service and facilities there, likewise we thought that this hotel would have the same quality of service and facilities. The smell in the hallway was bad. Bedding seems like used and not washed. There’s no free toothbrush, complimentary water and coffee. Bathroom’s light took time to open. But I can vouch that their staff are nice and accomodating. Overall, MO2 didn’t give the satisfaction that we expected during our stay because of these issues. Hope they can fix all of these.

The condition of this hotel and its services has degraded since the last time a stayed about 2 - 3 years ago. Front desk person was putting on her make up while guests are checking-in. When we ask for room make-up, they did not even clean the used utensils and left in inside the rest room as how it was. Did not replenish condiments and even the drinking water in the fridge. The shower is so terrible that it the water coming out of it is as low as a water spray.

Worst hotel to date!
This hotel is by far, the worst hotel experience I have had since moving too the Philippines. I have stayed at the other MO2 Westown across town and they are by far better suited to host guests. When checking in, I was originally told I would have to wait to get my key because they allowed the previous guest to leave with the key. What kind of hotel still uses metal keys these days? Why not key cards like everywhere else. Cheap owners, that’s my guess. When my room was serviced this morning, the floor was not vacuumed and the used glasses weren’t replaced with clean ones. This afternoon, I ordered a tuna melt sandwich. This is a very basic sandwich that one can order around the world. However, the kitchen, which is not manned by a chef, but an assistant, served the sandwich with a cream sauce on it which was made of sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon, and God knows what else. I have a very liberal policy of eating what is served to me and not making a fuss. However, since this was by far the most disgusting thing I’ve ever received from room service anywhere in the world. Bottom line...,don’t stay here! You’ve been warned!!

The bldg was quite old but it was clean, we had a comfortable stay in general. I just wish they could be more pro-active in ensuring the basic needs of their clients are provided without having to ask for it like the bathroom tissue, considering their toilets are designed without a bidet spray.

Westown was not Rest town.....
Enjoyed my stay at the MO2. The hotel's amenities are quite good. The wi fi was strong and steady, the bathroom, though not large, was clean. The bed's were small but comfortable. I like the location of the hotel as it is right there off Lacson Blvd., and is close to Robinson Mall, and is a short jeepney ride from the Chinatown area of town. There is no elevator though, so be prepared to climb the stairs leaving and going to the lobby. My only complaint about my stay was that there was a lot clearing project going on during my stay which involved a LOT of tree cutting. I wish the hotel would have at least had the courtesy to send me an email informing me of that so that I would have been prepared for the constant sound of the chain saws each day I was there.
