« We enjoyed our stay and the comforts of the Fox Den! It was a great base camp for daily mountain adventures and we appreciated the cleanliness, the outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen. The only downsides of our stay include the noise from the upstairs renters—we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear their every movement and it lasted into the early morning hours. « This was a beautiful cabin and the location was perfect. Easy communication with owners and spoke with them in person a couple times. Would highly recommend for anyone going to the area of Davis WV. Cabin was furnished with everything you need and was spotless! Our Dogs also loved the large yard and secluded area and many dog friendly hiking trails nearby. »

« To sum it up. The owners were absolutely the most accommodating pepole i encountered To add to that. The view is absolutely life changing. To wake up with mountains at your feet is insane. The fire pit. Yes. Cmon. Sunset with that view anddd a fire pit. Theres some great food at the Sports Inn and they were also clutch in our stayJust the combination of the view, the local trails, the food and the owners being the best. « We are graduates of the FBI National Academy. Each year they host a “training” at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, WV for police officers who have attended the academy. We’ve been attending these events for over 25 years. Staying at Alpine is always a treat. Your house was extremely nice and totally comfortable for four old men! We would certainly recommend it to others. »

« A beautiful spot, the location was spectacular, other than the two mile trail getting to the house it didn’t help that it snowed the night before making it a little interesting getting down the mountain. The only thing I was a little bit sad with the American flag outside. It was very tattered. Being a veteran and a member of a VFW I dispose of it in a the proper way. We all enjoy our stay and it’s a beautiful place. »

« We had such a great time, the home and view etc is beautiful. Great fishing, enjoyed a campfire at night. We definitely plan to come back again! »

« We loved our Easter in Davis! Our cabin was wonderful! The property was great and our kids had a wonderful time playing near the creek. We saw deer each day walking through the backyard. Rooms and beds were comfy! Lovely place! »

« My family and I stayed for a four night ski vacation. The house was exactly as described somewhat outdated, but clean. The hot tub was clean, great and relaxing after a day of skiing. Check-in was easy they gave very specific details and directions. We have plenty of supplies for everything we needed with the exception there was no paper towels. « My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. The property is great. It is small, but it suited us well for our purposes. The view of the small lake and mountainside was wonderful. We woke up one morning to the snow-covered ground and the moon reflecting off the frozen lake—it was beautiful. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with there being too much chlorine in the hot tub—they had the issue fixed the same day I raised the issue with them. When we checked...

« We stayed over in late April at Fox Alley A unit. It was just right for our needs. Very clean, comfortable, with all the necessities and more! Perfect location for local hiking at Black Water Falls park and Dolly Sods. We would definitely stay here again. »
