Located on the south-eastern side of Sicily, in the picturesque Val di Noto, famous for its fascinating Baroque architecture and rich native cultivation, Villa Amore is just 10 minutes from the centre of Noto, while the most beautiful beaches in Sicily can be easily reached in about 20 minutes by car. Of very recent construction, the villa was designed by the French-Lebanese architect Fabrice Bejjani. It presents itself as an elegant contemporary residence, characterised by clean lines that create a deliberate contrast with the external environment that has been purposefully left in its most natural form. The architecture of the villa develops in a fluid combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, highlighting a visual continuity right from the entrance. A square arch at the entrance cleverly connects the rooms, while the large windows in each room encourage a natural flow between the spaces. The heart of the villa is the large living room that opens onto a terrace with swimming pool, followed by a brightly-lit kitchen that leads to the outdoor dining area which, spacious and welcoming, features a large table protected by two walls and shaded by a canopy. Outside, the predominant element is the elegant infinity pool with a breathtaking view over the surrounding landscape, with the sea on the horizon, offering wonderful sunsets. The geographical context of Villa Amore is rich in suggestions and attractions, with artistic-cultural itineraries not to be missed. In the renowned towns of the area, such as Noto, Avola, Modica, Ragusa and Scicli, Baroque architecture coexists with food and wine delights. The Vendicari Nature Reserve, with its long coasts interspersed with beaches, some sandy and some rocky, washed by a crystal clear sea, invites to refreshing swims and invigorating walks
Interior:
The fully air conditioned villa has two floors. The beautiful main entrance leads into an external courtyard that connects the villa with the annex composed of a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Entering the main entrance of the villa, you come to the living room with sitting area and TV. The living room is divided from the dining room by a partition wall. The well-connected kitchen, with central island and a view of the pool, communicates directly with the outdoor dining area shaded by a canopy. Large windows confer natural continuity between the large living area and the garden. The floor is completed by the laundry room and a guest bathroom. An internal staircase leads up to the first floor with three double bedrooms of minimalist design with large windows, each with ensuite bathroom with shower.
Park:
The surrounding land, covering approximately 6000 sq m, is flat and cultivated with olive and carob trees, prickly pears, palms and flowering shrubs. At the entrance, between the annex bedroom and the main villa, is an outdoor sitting area with a brick sofa under a pergola. In the outdoor dining area, accessible from the kitchen, is a large dining table where it is possible to cook using an Barbecue. The living room, kitchen and annex bedroom lead directly out to the paved terrace with pergola where the swimming pool and, at its edge, a stone living area are located. The garden, beyond the pool, is preserved in its most natural state. The 3-car parking area is located just beyond the entrance gate of the property.
Swimming Pool:
The infinity pool is located on the same level as the ground floor of the villa, about 7 metres away, and just a few steps from the ground-floor French windows, with a panoramic view of the countryside and the sea looming on the horizon. Rectangular and lined with dark stone slabs, the pool has chlorine purification, internal and external lighting and Roman steps for access to the water. It measures 12 x 4 m, of which one third is 30 cm deep while the rest of the pool has a varying depth of 1.30 to 1.40 m. Between the front of the villa and the pool is a sunbathing area of about 60 sq m, equipped with sunbeds located under a pergola, and a cold-water shower. Adjacent to the pool is a sitting area that creates an additional outdoor relaxation area. The pool is available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
Pets: Yes, only small size. € 50.00 per animal per week.
