Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually, it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else.
As Texas temperature starts to heat up, please be aware that your units' AC may only cool down to a certain temperature, especially if the blinds are opened or the unit gets sunlight. Rest assured the AC is working fine as of this writing based on regular inspection
One hallway closet will be locked and not accessible to guests as that is where we store our cleaning supplies and other essentials. Only our cleaning/maintenance team has access to that. We apologize for any inconvenience. There are various other closets and cabinets in the entire apartment to store your belongings.
Please note that a small section of the ceiling to the left of the kitchen entrance has a visible plaster bubble. This cosmetic issue does not affect the safety or comfort of your stay in any way. The area has been assessed and poses no hazard.
Ring security cameras located OUTSIDE of the unit by the front door and balcony sliding door. Records OUTDOOR video and sound for the duration of your stay. Noise monitor inside property measures decibel levels only.
Please note that the bathtub and sink has some chipped paint, and parts of the bathroom wall require recaulk. We are currently addressing these maintenance concerns. Additionally, because the bathtub is older, it may take a bit longer to drain. However, it is still fully functional.
There is some dark discoloration in the tiles in front of the fireplace. Please note that this is permanent but the floors have already been mopped and sanitized
The fireplace in the unit is decorative and not permitted for use. Charges will apply if any damages or issues occur due to usage.
To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal, and/or, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.
