Summary:
Enjoy a very comfortable home with upscale furniture, heavenly mattresses, and thoughtful decor along with a private, fully-fenced, turf backyard! You'll also be in walking distance to Hank's for coffee and brunch! The Mueller neighborhood is a 3 min drive away offering Mueller Lake Park, Alamo Drafthouse cinema, pubs, bars, Starbucks, Juiceland, UPS store, and the best HEB grocery store in our opinion. Only 10 min to DT East Austin and 10 min to the Domain!

The Space:
Please note, all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement.

Welcome to our modern and spacious 1600 sq ft home, located in a convenient location close to the airport, Downtown Austin, the Domain, UT, and Q2 Stadium. Enjoy a relaxing outdoor experience in our fenced-in, turf backyard complete with a picnic table, lounge chairs, outdoor sofa, cowboy pool, grill, and string lights. Stay connected with our fast WiFi and unwind in the evenings with our 50” HDTV offering all streaming services while lounging on an extremely comfortable, large sofa - perfect for the whole group!

Our home is designed to feel like a home away from home, with quality furnishings from CB2, West Elm, and Article. We offer easy self-check-in and will make sure you have an incredible time. You can expect a sparkling clean stay upon arrival and a custom digital guidebook with local recommendations to enhance your time in Austin.

Note: this home is the larger Unit A home attached to a Unit B home (duplex). The home has its own big yard and entrance. Other than a portion of the driveway, there are no shared spaces.

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Portoro Homes uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.

‱ Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

The Neighborhood:
The Windsor Park neighborhood is in a multi-cultural, safe, transitioning area with new construction homes (this Airbnb) mixed in with a majority of older Austin homes. Enjoy convenience to get straight to Downtown/SXSW/ACL, shopping at The Domain, UT campus, Mueller Lake Park, Q2 Stadium, and the AUS airport!

Getting Around:
Car or Uber/Lyft recommended. The driveway can fit 1 car and there is free street parking as well. In this location, you can get to most major entertainment within 10-15 minutes!

FAQ's

â–ș Is luggage drop-off allowed for early arrivals or late departures?
- Yes! Luggage can be dropped off two hours before check-in (2:00pm) and left two hours after check-out (1:00pm) while the cleaners are there turning the space. Please be sure to leave it just inside the house by the front door and be sure to pick up your luggage before 1:00pm (any later will result in a $50/hr fee).

â–ș Early check-in? Late checkout?
Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 11am. If you'd like to request an early check-in or late checkout, please message us a couple days before your trip as it will be subject to availability.
- Early check-in is at 12pm = $80
- Late checkout is at 3pm = $80
- For a *guaranteed* early check-in or late checkout, please reach out as we can offer a discounted daily rate to block the day before or after.

â–ș Is the neighborhood walkable?- This is a gentrifying neighborhood. We recommend walking 5 mins to Hank's (very popular restaurant and coffee shop), or a quick bite at Little Deli (1 min walk). Otherwise, it is more scenic to pop over to Mueller Lake Park for a beautiful trails, shopping, and more restaurants.

â–ș Are there coffee shops or restaurants nearby?
- Yes! We highly recommend Hank's for brunch and coffee! They offer WiFi for working remote.

â–ș Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member or co-worker?
- While we would love to host whoever you are booking for, we do need them to book for themselves with their own Airbnb account. You can potentially earn travel credit by referring someone to book their first reservation with Airbnb. Go to Account Settings and click on "Invite Friends" for more details.

â–ș When is the pool available?
- The cowboy pool is available March - October (sometimes November if weather remains warm).

Interaction with Guests:
Portoro Homes communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 48 hours prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by email/text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7.

We follow the CDC and Airbnb Recommended Cleaning Guidelines. You can rest assured this property has been completely sanitized prior to check-in.
