Inviting Retreat | Outdoor Living w Downtown Views

This cheerful three-bedroom, two-bathroom home sits on a large private lot with outdoor living spaces and views of downtown. The location is superb, being mere blocks to Downtown, East 6th Street, the Capitol Complex, UT sports, and Austin’s beloved local favorite, the East 11th Entertainment District. Within three blocks are numerous bus stops and an ATX Metrobike rental station. Walk downtown to a show, dinner, or museum; and take a pedicab back home.

We have an expansive 360 tour of this space - check it out by scanning the QR code in the image gallery. You can use the floor plan or the navigation bar at the bottom to explore the house. Also, if you go to an outdoor space, look up, and click the cloud with the arrow, then you will also get a tour of Austin! Enjoy!

The house is perfect for up to six guests, offering a thoughtfully-designed interior with high-speed Wi-Fi, cozy seating areas, luxury linens, and comfortable beds. Outdoors, make conversation on the covered patio, find inspiration from the downtown skyline, get energized with a game of cornhole, sing songs around a fire, or relax in a shady hammock.

The living room has two full-sized sofas, a smart tv, original artwork, and a portable blue-tooth speaker. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking essentials, a dishwasher, coffee maker, toasters, and ice maker. The dining table seats six, and there is a small counter-top bar with barstools as well. The charcoal grill is just a few steps away, sheltered by the second covered patio.



The bedrooms offer thoughtful touches, like desks, dressing mirrors, blackout curtains, and storage places for your items. The primary bedroom boasts a king bed, large desk, and its own private bathroom, the second bedroom also offers a king bed, while the third bedroom, with a queen, offers a glimpse of downtown highrises - from the bed!



The home also offers an in-unit laundry room, a garage, and ample parking right in front (free).

After booking you'll be provided a link where you can purchase upgrades to your booking such as early check-in and late check-out, additional cleanings, and more that will make your Austin experience even better!

We don't charge a security deposit! Where many hosts charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk them not returning your deposit – Austin Vacay remains guest-centric by charging a one-time, non-refundable fee (already included in your booking price) which provides up to $1,000 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions). This means a lower cost to book, and because accidents happen, protection against costly charges. Plan terms and conditions provided by request after booking.

We have taken extra precautions to care for our guests and employees by introducing zero contact entry, enhanced cleaning protocols, and strict covering requirements for employees. We encourage our guests to review Texas and Austin’s travel guidelines and restrictions before making a reservation. We must work together to ensure a safe environment for everyone that enters our properties.

Located in East Austin, this vibrant and eclectic neighborhood is known for its unique artistic flair and cultural diversity. A hub for creativity, the area boasts an array of art galleries, music venues, and trendy eateries that showcase Austin's unique character. The nearby outdoor spaces, like parks and biking trails, contribute to the lively urban environment. This part of Austin is also close to downtown, making it convenient for both work and play. From food truck parks to specialized boutiques, the area provides a variety of attractions that cater to diverse tastes and interests, reflecting the dynamic spirit of the city.

Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website).
We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.

1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
3) No events or parties.
4) Feel free to inquire about bringing your dogs along. We allow a maximum of two small dogs, each weighing 35 lbs or less. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted. There is a one-time pet cleaning fee of $85. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog so we can prepare the necessary cleaning supplies to eliminate allergens before the next guest arrives. If we do not receive notice at least 48 hours before your check-in, the fee will be $105. While staying with us, dogs must be crated when left alone, should not climb on furniture, and must not be left outside unattended. Owners are responsible for any damages caused.
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
6) Minimum age requirement is 25
7) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
8) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay
