Très beau B&B au calme. Les hôtes sont très charmants. Le cadre est magnifique. La chambre parfaite avec un style un peu vinetage. Seul bémol, nous n avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner car rien n était près à 9h (panne de réveil???) dans tout les cas, je vous la recommande vivement

Un endroit paisible et chaleureux
Coordonnées GPS: 52°50'08.7"N 6°18'21.0"W Cette demeure historique est située à Aughrim, soit à environ une heure au sud de Dublin. Elle est idéalement située pour visiter la région de Wicklow, et plus précisément la vallée de Glendalough. Elle est située dans un lieu enchanteur. On y retrouve un jardin dans lequel sont aménagés des étangs ainsi qu'une cascade. On y retrouve également une grande variété de fleurs, plantes et arbustes. La maison est décorée avec goût et les hôtes sont très accueillants. Notre chambre est spacieuse et le lit est très confortable. Il y a même un foyer. Dans une pièce attenante à notre chambre se trouvent un bain sur pied, une douche ainsi que la salle de bain. Pour le souper, nous avons acheté à l'épicerie une baguette de pain et quelques fromages que nous avons pu déguster, bien installés devant un bon feu de cheminée, ce qui rendait l'atmosphère très chaleureuse. Un petit déjeuner copieux est offert. Il est composé entre autres, de jus de fruits frais, de fruits, de pains, de muffins et de scones. Nous vous recommandons cet endroit sans aucune hésitation.

Absolutely peaceful, beautiful property and those Airedales just made our stay ten times more memorable. Svetlana and Jeff do a great job making you feel right at home in this gorgeous property. It is away from towns which is what we needed after three days in Dublin. BUT! Don’t let this fool you as we had the best meal at the Woodenbridge Hotel (8 min drive)… so you have options. Lovely place!

Eclectic property in the middle of nowhere with beautiful grounds, and great accommodations. Room as spacious and clean with a great view of the gardens. Loved that there were no TVs. Great deck lounge chairs! Very nice breakfast as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clone House set in the most peaceful part of the forest was a pleasure to stay in. It was very clean and the room was beautiful. The gardens were absolutely stunning. We had a lovely two dsys there and would recommend it to get away from the norm

My wife and I stayed for two nights. We found the house lovely and quiet. A little bit off the beaten track, but all the nicer for that, and perfect for our needs, with just the right ambiance. Lovely gardens, and friendly and helpful owner made for a really nice stay.

The owners are superfriendly. They will do everything to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Great breakfast to your choosing. Superclean and real authentic house that is well maintained in a nice environment. Wicklow mountains and Glendalough lake 30 min away.

It was a Bed and Breakfast in a quiet and lovely location. We had to leave before breakfast but the proprietors were more than willing to provide. We were sorry we could not take advantage.

We stayed here for three nights. Part if its charm is that it is off the beaten track. Beautiful house and gardens. Quiet and relaxing, comfortable room. The shower was barely adequate but this is an old building. We had problems with a duff hire car but the owner and staff were very helpful. Great hospitality. Recommended.

Stayed here just one night. The property is a little hard to find but once there, you are greeted by the best dogs ever! The property is nice, although parts need a lot of tending/work. The room was fine. It was very clean, which is most important. However, we booked a room for 3 (one child) the cot provided for a 12 y.o had seem much better days. It was more like an army cot. Breakfast was terrific and the hostess was lovely. Not much to do around there but it is a beautiful part of the world.

We loved the charming atmosphere of Clone House. The decor was lovely , our room and bathroom we're clean and comfortable, and the grounds had well maintained gardens with several peaceful areas to sit to take in the beautiful countryside. Breakfast was wonderful with several choices daily. Fresh pressed coffee, homemade scones and fresh fruit and yogurt on top of what you ordered, made a great start to the day. The host was friendly and willing to recommend local spots for sightseeing and dining. We highly recommend Clone House and would rebook here the next time we come to Ireland!

An ok stay
Stay was ok, old properties require lots of maintenance which was lacking here. Toilet seat only fixed one side, pull cord for light too short - wife unable to reach it, bath overflow Heath Robinson, outside decor very poor. Main problem for us was room not serviced on one day of our stay. Many people will not be used to old properties and aware of the indoor window shutters (no curtains) and whereas we were fine an explanation would have been nice. On the plus side a great deal of work is being done in the gardens and there are lots of seats in different locations, breakfasts were good with good products. Very peaceful, comfortable lounge. The property has great potential and as work progresses it will become a really nice and fascinating place to stay

Seems a nice old house but I'm afraid without any heat the room is extremely cold and damp. My wife and I decided not to stay as there was no way that the place could be brought to a level of heat and comfort that would ensure that we could get a nights sleep. In fact we felt that stay in winter time in the room could damagfe outr health. We informed the owner of our decision to leave and felt that some form of reduction in charge seeing that we would not be about for breakfast might be forcoming. We were wrong. It might be oaky in Summer time.

This is review is slightly ingenious. The weather was 10-11 C outside. We provide room radiators, extra electric heater, working fireplace AND electric blankets. Couple said they had personal emergency and had to urgently return home. We cannot get heating exactly right for everyone but had they used any number of heating provided the room could have been up to standard. They asked for refund even though cancelling last minute due to personal emergency. This is is a bit sour grapes. People need to not expect to tie up rooms and cancel after checkin then receive refunds. It is not fair to us or others we turn away.

Toilet light didn't work. Floor paint flaked off onto bare feet in the bedroom. No one around when arriving or leaving. Had to wander around to find the host. Building needs a tidy up and a paint. Beautiful setting.

😂😂😂Get a corporate hotel! :). It is a 370 year old heritage house dude. Nice review though. But you need to stay with new builds.
