Very close to both city centre and Spark Arena for concerts, lovely staff at reception. Arived early for check in only hoping to store bags for a while but was given an earlier room and a free upgrade. Would highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay. It was clean, quiet, and convenient. It is close to a train station, shopping mall, the wharf/ ferry terminal, and a plethora of places to eat. It has no amenities, but across the road, there is a gym and pool that guest can access for free. No restaurant in the hotel, but there is a coffee shop next door. It had an active nightlife and the main bus loop was close to the hotel so it was easy to get around. I would stay here again and I am also grateful that they stored my luggage given that my flight wasn’t till 8pm.

Fantastic value for the room! Blackout curtains are fantastic for helping to sleep during daylight or for a cinema like experience with Netflix (cast or hdmi to TV). Although the TV (4K 30 FPS) seemed to have poor audio quality (so I used the speakers of my own device instead), no issues with wifi either. Room was quiet, I did not hear my neighbors like other hotels I've been to. You can hear noise from outside the door, but when I left the room I could not hear my show playing. The door was rather thick and and a tad heavy. Only noise I initially had trouble with for sleeping was coming from the vents inside the room? (just above the TV for me) A humming sort of sound that I didn't notice at all while I had the TV on. There are no windows you can open, so I think that vent operating is unavoidable. Bring earbuds like calmer or loops if you need to block it out. The room felt spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, desks with 3 seats along the window side. A full length mirror on the wall in the corner. The usual kitchen amenities with most items below the tabletop cabinets including a fridge behind a wooden panel. Power points were ample. I was very happy with availability around the room, each side of the bed also had their own. Some have USB-A ports as well. Lighting was also brilliant. While no individual dimming controls, you have quite a few lights with convenient switch access to adjust to your liking. Bathroom was big and gorgeous, basin large, massive mirror.

A great location for being in Auckland. Since, I didn't have a car I could walk from train station to the property in about 15 to 20 minutes. I also could walk down to the docks for my whale watching cruise in 15 minutes. I had a great room, spacious and clean with all the amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend it.

It was clean and felt high quality for an affordable price. The bathroom especially was spacious and very clean, and felt modern and new. Bed was comfy, the lighting was cozy, and staff were very friendly and helpful.

New hotel, very quiet on 14th floor. Bathroom clean, shower pressure good. Staff pleasant. Only issue was when we wanted a room with total darkness the green light on the aircon lit up the room. Found aircon difficult to turn down and too noisy.

Imagine Beach Road is a perfect home base for a short stay in Auckland. Our large room was light-filled and quiet. The location is convenient to bus lines as well as the subway and ferry systems. Good restaurants and a grocery store are just a short walk away. I appreciated the 24-hour front desk service.

Everything about the place looks and seems great. Room is lovely, modern, clean, secure. Shower is amazing etc. However it is so noisy. I called reception to explain that it would be too noisy for me to sleep and what is the sound. It is their internal air vents, but ring if I was concerned. She missed the point that is why I calling. The vent woke me at 3am, so not great..
