Spacieux 4 Chambre Lodge, au lac Supérieur

Bienvenue à la Kimar Resort, le long des rives du lac Supérieur à Shelter Bay. Offrez-vous la beauté de la vierge du lac Supérieur sur nos 300 'pieds de rivage de sable privée avec une vue sur l'ßle AuTrain. Bronzer, ramasser des roches, du kayak sur la baie, ou monter autour de notre bateau à aubes. Profitez de la vue à couper le souffle uniques notre emplacement a à offrir, y compris les observations d'aigle, étoiles filantes, levers de lune, et les aurores boréales.

Détendez-vous sur la plate-forme sur la plage ou, pour plus d'intimité, assis sur le pont de votre propre cabine avec vue sur le lac. Construit dans les années 1990, notre pavillon de 4 chambres vous et votre famille offre une belle expérience de la nature avec le confort d'une maison moderne.

Situé directement sur la route est un lac intérieur plus petit, Deer Lake, un lieu de baignade parfait. Il ya des tables de pique-nique et des grils pour votre pique-nique à la plage ou lancer votre bateau et essayer d'attraper une certaine perche ou le brochet. Promenez-vous le long de la plage pour regarder les couchers de soleil à couper le souffle.

En outre, nous offrons Ă©galement un service de la pĂȘche charte sur le lac SupĂ©rieur. Nous pĂȘchons trois endroits allant de 4 Ă  45 miles des cĂŽtes. Vous et la famille pouvez traĂźne juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l'Ăźle Au train ou faire un voyage d'une journĂ©e complĂšte pour le trophĂ©e de taille touladi, pesant jusqu'Ă  30 livres!

Pendant votre séjour, visite un certain nombre de sites étonnants à la fois Munising et Marquette, comme Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, de nombreuses cascades et des sentiers de randonnée. En plus, nous sommes situés à moins d'une journée pour Fayette State Park, Tahquamenon Falls, et de la National Wildlife Refuge Seney.

Great cabin, ideal location

We had a great stay in UP Michigan. The cabin that we stayed in was very nice and had more than enough room for the 4 of us. The property manager Sarah was really friendly and helpful, offering plenty of advice on places to see while we were there.We didn't have a direct view of Lake Superior from the cabin but it was just a quick walk from our door down to the lakeshore. Kimar's Resort in Au Train was a great central location between many of our destinations. It was just a short drive east to Munising (20 minutes) or west to Marquette (25 minutes), and the drive east to Grand Marais was a little over an hour. The Pictured Rocks lakeshore is really beautiful. This was my first trip to the UP but I am certain that it won't be my last, and when we come back we would love to stay in the same place again.

We had a great stay at the Lodge at Kimar’s. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Very clean and had everything that we needed. Sarah was very helpful and answered all our needs. She gave us helpful tips on where to buy groceries and anything else we needed. This made our stay in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan a great experience!

Kimar Family Pride - A Fishing Village History

From the booking this resort provided superior communication through multiple avenues - VRBO, Kimar’s Email and through phone And text messaging. Sarah exceeds expectations as a professional Service Concierge. The facility was sparkling clean upon entry, and double-checked for comfort by Carrie, in just the right timeframe after we settled in. I encourage you to walk the entire property to explore the cabins, and including the bayshore, the fish-house and Pop’s Shop.

Wonderful memories made

Myself and three friends loved our stay at Kimar's Resort! We rented the 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath lodge. The lodge had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property was fabulous and everyone we encountered was great! We loved watching the sunrise near the pavilion on Lake Superior and we walked across the road to Deer Lake to watch the sunset. Sarah is the best host ever and has a gem of a resort! She was even nice enough to take time to help us look for Yooperlites. I recommend Kimar's Resort and plan to visit again!

Very clean

The Lodge was very neat and clean but very basic. Sarah was good to deal with. Check in was easy. Having 4 bedrooms was a plus for us. My only negative would be that the listing seemed to me anyway that the Lodge was directly on the water. It is a short walk to the water's edge. It is also a good distance from Munising, almost 20 miles.

Great halfway point between Munising and Marquette.

Cottage (house) is located with in a short distance (125 yards) of Lake Superior. Cottage was clean and had plenty of space for hanging out. Open living room, dinning and kitchen area. I would recommend eating at Foggy's Bar and Steak house, Chathum Pub (Club sandwich and Fries are awesome) Miner Pasties (Skip the chicken Pasties however at Miner's) Muldoon's Pasties. Kimar's Resort is located within a short drive to several falls. They have a folder within the room that describes the area and attractions.

No frills, cost effective place to stay

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights (my husband, father-in-law and myself) while visiting our daughter at NMU. It was a good halfway point between Munising and Marquette, we spent one day at Pictured Rocks and the rest of the trip in Marquette. The lodge was reasonably clean and spacious for what we needed and the price was much less than anything right in Marquette during the peak color season. The only drawback was the lack of consistent Wi-Fi- if this is important to you be advised that it is not good- my daughter did not end up staying with us because she needed to have reliable internet to get homework done over the weekend. This is definitely a “no-frills” type of place which is what we expected.

Amazing, revitalizing stay!

We had such a wonderful stay. The bay is beautiful and you can kayak around the shore and watch bald eagles. A really magical place, I would highly recommend and will probably return.

Best vacation place in woods

The description and pictures do not do justice to how nice the home is. The space was very clean and more than we expected. Perfect amount of space for 4-6 people. Best thing is the amenities , beach kayak they offered is awesome . I recommend this place to all my friends . Best Cabin/Lodge I had ever rented . Host Sarah is fantastic.

Modern cabin in a lovely town

The “lodge” was very nice and modern. Despite being in the middle of several other cabins and boats, all was peaceful. The lodge is perfect for a larger family, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The owner communicated instructions very efficiently before and during our visit. Thank you!!

As advertised

This was a fantastic location for our family to have a true UP retreat. We had a view of Lake Superior, and very friendly neighbors the entire week we stayed. The house was exactly as advertised, clean and enough room for my wife and I and our four kids. The house had everything you could need(don't forget towels)! Bath, beach and hand towels. I forgot which required a quick trip to Munising. Beautiful place to be, we couldn't see everything we wanted but will for sure come back, and book this place again. And of course a fishing trip with their charter service! Thanks again for everything
