Modern 4 Bedroom Home Minutes From Stone Mountain

Stylish and amenity rich 4-bedroom/3-bathroom home with private basement apartment and a large back yard. This space is great for big families and large groups of friends who are looking for a well-designed space with lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. Our home is very close to Stone Mountain (less than 10 min) and a short drive away from Decatur and Downtown Atlanta. We are always adding surprises and new amenities for our guests to try out!

Main Floor: The front door opens into a roomy living area that has lots of seating and a 55 inch smart TV with Roku. The dining room and kitchen are also on this level of the home. The kitchen includes lots of cooking gear and a nice array of spices & oil. Coffee maker, ground coffee, and filters are provided. There are enough plates, glasses, bowls, and silverware to serve 10.

Upstairs: The upstairs portion of the space has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom features a super comfortable king bed and luxurious master bathroom. The master bathroom is one of the highlights of the house and features a gigantic soaking tub and walk-in shower with 5 shower heads. There are two other bedrooms located in the upstairs part of of the home. One bedroom has two 2 single beds and the other bedroom features a queen bed. These two bathroom share a full bath located in the upstairs hallway.

Ground Level : The ground level of the home can be reached via an interior or exterior staircase. The ground level of the floor included a 4th bedroom with a queen bed and futon. The ground level floor also feature a secondary full kitchen and a newly remodeled full bathroom. We recently upgraded the ground level floor with a separate HVAC system which means this level of the home can be heated or cooled separately.

Bed Summary: Our home includes 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and two single beds. There are also lots of couch space in the living room located on the main level and the futon located in the ground level bedroom.

Parking: Our driveway is very big and can fit up to 6 cars

Our home features a total of 5 HD Smart TVs with Roku signed into Netflix, HBOMax, and Disney+. Guests can also log into their own streaming services via the Roku interface.

Guests will have access to the entire house except for the garage which is locked and is used to store supplies.

We live down the street and are available if our guests need anything at all.

Our home is nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, situated approximately 10 minutes east of Stone Mountain. This established community is adorned with big, mature trees, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Don't be surprised to see neighbors leisurely strolling and children playing in front yards – it's a common sight here. The area also boasts convenient access to retail and grocery stores, along with an array of local restaurants just a short drive away, providing everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

The best way to get around in our neighborhood is by car. We have lots of parking space in our driveway.

1. Please make sure the number of guests in your reservation is accurate. A guest is defined as any person who visits the property for at least 5 minutes. Additional visitors not included in the reservation must be approved in advance by host. Unapproved guests are subject to a $50 fee per person and/or immediate cancelation of remainder of reservation without refund.

2. Events, weddings, and parties are prohibited. If you are not sure your reservation qualifies as a party or event, please reach out to us and explain what you are trying to do and we can determine if its possible to host your event. Good communication is key.

3.SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. $500 smoking fee. Burning incense is also prohibited.

4. Do not put food and cooking oil down the kitchen drain.

5. Guests must provide a copy of their unaltered Driver's License or Passport to host through the Airbnb message thread immediately after booking to finalize your reservation.

6. Our cleaning team charges a $350 Biohazard cleaning fee if they must clean up vomit, blood, or any other bodily fluid.

7. Glitter and confetti are strictly prohibited. There is an additional $100 fee if our cleaning team finds glitter or confetti.

8. We provide a gas grill, but guests are responsible for providing their own propane and cleaning the grill after each use. If the propane tank is empty, you can exchange the tank at local gas stations for between $20 and $25.

9. No matter what the package says, flushable wipes or anything besides toilet paper and human waste should never be flushed down toilets.

This property was not a good experience in any way for us. Upon entering the property, I contacted the property owner to request use of any other property in the area. He did not have anything available. The entire home smelled like both stale and recent weed smoke. The home was dirty and not stocked with basic needs (like toilet paper,, dish soap Dishwasher detergent etc). The carpet had been vacuumed but was dirty just from extreme wear and tear. The windows do not open easily or lock when shut. The owner did respond well and provided a 100 discount - however, this property truly needs to be updated and deep cleaned before it could meet the description. We are very easy going and stay in short term rentals a lot. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience.

Property was as advertised, few things could use some cleanlier attention (kitchen trashcan was filthy, few other spots needing attention) but overall a nice place to stay. Primary bedroom's shower was all you could hope and dream. The problem we had was (as many others have said) is communication. I emailed with the owner after initial booking, answering all his questions about my reason for visit & plans for staying in his home then was asked to text my number. This was about 1.5 weeks prior to my stay. After texting him, he went dark. I texted him twice and emailed him 2-3 more times just to make sure everything was a go and he never responded. Come the day of arrival, I STILL hadn't heard anything. When 4pm check-in time arrived and still no outreach, I called him from a different number and he answered. I gave him my name and it didn't even ring a bell. He literally asked me when I was supposed to check in to which I replied, "uhh...NOW??" After he looked in his records, he then sent me the access code to get in the door. I understand if he owns several properties and things could get busy, but to ignore the emails and texts of someone who's paid to stay at your home is definitely not cool. You need to work on that Micheal. The reviews don't lie.

This home is well kept and located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed for our family gathering, and the reading nook was a big hit with the kids. The property manager gave us check-in information before we needed it and check-in was so easy. I felt like the property manager was engaged and truly wanted to know if we needed anything. I would book this property again.

We had a delightful 3 day stay. An older home with lots of modern updates. Beds were very comfortable with quality bed linens. Quiet neighborhood with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Good WiFi and technology. One comment for older renters - there is no bathroom on the main floor. It's only 6 steps but could be an issue. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Overall the house was in a good location and clean. We have a 8 month old and I would not consider this house baby friendly. The book area was a fun surprise for our other kids. The communication with the owner was not good, it took a month to get a reply on an item we left in the home. I would still recommend this property and would stay here again.
