Nice friendly atmosphere and staff. food was great too! does anyone really need that many pillows and cushions? just means more work for the room teams, but it has a look so that is the aim I suppose.

Overnight stay
Great hotel, rooms comfortable and spacious. Great food and great staff. This is my second time at this hotel and my husband stayed there before on a work trip. Will be back in a few months.

We arrived here by chance, needing a place to spend the night after many hours driving through Ireland west to east and back. Did not know the place beforehand, found a special deal on Expedia and booked it. Amazing!! Lovely setting, impeccable room, excellent dining, incredible staff. Will come back.

Outstanding hotel. Staff were all so friendly and attentive. Food was fab and very good value for money. It was a lovely treat to have the hot food made to order and served to our table rather than the typical buffet breakfast that most hotels offer. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We would have no problem recommending this hotel

Would recommend this hotel. Handy location. Friendly staff and a good airy bedroom. The food, dinner on Sunday evening, was good and freshly made. They were very busy in the restaurant and service was slow but we were in no hurry. That's an observation not a complaint Good choice for breakfast

We stayed here for work with a long truck and it couldn’t have been easier. Loads of parking, confirmed in advance. Seven rooms booked and the process to prepay through company bank transfer was made seamless. Great food and creamy pints, excellent breakfast and leisure centre was top notch. Highly recommended.

An excellent hotel which we use each time we are in the area visiting friends. The premises are always clean and inviting. You can be assured of a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation. The restaurant offer’s excellent food and although we didn’t have dinner on this occasion we did have an enjoyable breakfast.

Entrance hard to find using GPS, but nice facility
Staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was hard to find the entrance to Clanard Court using the GPS. The entrance is not on the same street as the address provided.

Phenomenal find!!
Due to high prices in Carlow, I had to look slightly further afield and picked up on Clanard Court. How lucky I was! Everything was fantastic, from welcome to checkout. The breakfast was faultless with all members of staff being polite and courteous. Out of 10, I would give this hotel 9.95/10 with the 0.05 going to overlooking the car park whilst having breakfast. However, even this ended up a positive as I could watch the Alpacas and I assume goats whilst eating
