« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. « My recent stay at this Northshore property was wonderful! The loft was extremely clean, welcoming, and incredibly well stocked. My daughter and I were joking that the owner, Beth, should be giving classes on how to stock a VRBO! She thought of everything! And everything was placed intuitively, so there wasn't little signs everywhere over explaining things. It felt like being a guest at someone's home. It was a lovely stay! »

« First impression wasn’t great. A few of the windows had broken blinds on them. The house smelled like weed when we walked in. We had to air it out. There were two burn stains on the coffee table. The couch had so many stains on it that we never sat on it. It made us question the cleanliness of the bedroom. The sheets smelled clean. The pillows were awful. Highly recommend bringing your own pillows and blanket. Overall, it was fine. We were only booked for a one night stay. It served its purpose...
