Etablissement très bien placé Accueil fort satisfaisant par des personnes qui font tout pour faciliter le séjour . Un seuil petit désagrément : contrairement à ce qui est annoncé sur le site, pas de petit-déjeuner mais la proximité des splendeurs à visiter vaut bien cette déconvenue.

Location was great, but extremely hard beds! The pillows were flat and you had to make your own bed, needless to say it took me a while to fall asleep. The keys are extremely inefficient because they are REAL meta keys, so only one key per room.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and are always striving to improve. However, it's worth noting that we rarely receive complaints about our mattresses. They are of medium softness to suit the preferences of the average person. The same goes for our pillows, which are standard—neither flat nor too fluffy. Regarding the keys, indeed we use standard traditional keys instead of key-cards. If you had requested a second pair, we would have gladly provided one. Similarly, if you had asked for different pillows (or a second pair), we would have done our best to accommodate your needs.

Het is wat oubollig kan wel een likje verf hebben, maar het is super schoon bedden zijn goed. Personeel super vriendelijk. Locatie is top metro om de hoek en ook vele restaurants met schappelijke prijzen. Kamer is ook leuk geprijsd

Billed as being beneath the Acropolis but was in fact several city blocks downhill from the Acropolis. Check-out was shown on our booking confirmation that check-out was noon and we were called at 11:00 to check-out.

The hotel is in a good position within walking distance to historical sites, restaurants, bars and cafes.It also has a nice lounge and terrace on the fifth floor.Nice staff.

This was a great place to stay, the staff was accommodating, it's in the center of pretty much all the sites in Athens, Greece. The Acropolis is like a 10 to 15 minute walk and you can see it from their lounge! I enjoyed my stay here and I highly recommend it!

Staff were accommodating with our late check-in and request for adjacent rooms. We had a wing to ourselves that felt private like we’re at home. Only downside is there’s no A/C in bathroom so you have to either open bathroom window or open door for awhile to cool it down. Otherwise, location is close to dining options, tram and walkable enough (less than 0.5 mile) to acropolis area, metro station and Plaka stairs.

It's very close to the Acropolis but in a mostly residential neighborhood with great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner a couple minutes out the door. You won't get the noisiness of staying in Plaka but you'll get the convenience. The people who run it are good. Not artificial corporate people but real people with personality. The place has a nice vintage feel to it without being run down. I mean that as a compliment. If you want a luxury resort with all the latest generic style trends, this isn't the place for you. If you want quaint yet clean, this is it.

Although the furniture is a bit outdated and the rooms somewhat small, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. There is no restaurant on the property but there are many options nearby.

Great location, not a luxury hotel
Art Gallery Hotel has a great location- short walk to the Acropolis and restaurants, car rentals etc. Was perfect when we needed a centrally- located resting point while exploring Athens. But don’t expect luxury - this is an old building with tiny bathrooms and squeaky floors. Very clean, but you essentially make your own bed. Staff was fantastic- very helpful with all of my annoying questions. Price was amazing.

Nice hotel with access to main tourist sites
We spent three nights here. The hotel is clean and easy to access, in a nice part of town close to many restaurants, shops, and the Acropolis. Great spot for staying near tourist options, but not in the crowds or loud nightlife. There is a small outside patio area with a view of the Parthenon and acropolis that we sat outside on every night.

Amazingly nice people running this place, everyone was so friendly and helpful! We had such a nice stay, and the area was amazing. Super close to the metro and Acropolis, as well as a lot of nice restaurants and bars. Will for sure come back here!
