« Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot. « A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future. »

Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. "La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien, avec beaucoup de choix et l'on peut le prendre très tôt (bien pour prendre le ferry) Pour les arrivées tardives possibilités de restauration. Seul bémol, au salon Churchill où nous sommes allés pour prendre 1 verre et manger, nous avons attendu 1 heure pour avoir, 1 assiette de pâtes et 1 de saumon fumé !!!! Le personnel s'est excusé mais aucun geste de fait au final, malgré la venue du responsable, même pas le cafe offert (4 £)!!!"
