THE LAND Nestled in 9 acres of mountainous land, you'll be in contact with nature while being less than 10min away from West Asheville.
There is another 400sqft home 50 yards away and sleeps two people. You can also rent it if available and more people want to join your trip!
You can walk the property to the top, with incredible views, and the natural spring at the bottom.
THE ROOMS We have two rooms with queen beds and blackout curtains.
THE BATHROOM Enjoy a modern bathroom with a relaxing rain shower.
THE LIVING ROOM Comfy sofas, smart TV where you can stream your favorite shows and movies, and sound-system.
THE DECK Seating and Traeger grill, to make a great cookout surrounded by nature.
YARD On the side of the home, there is more seating and a fire pit with wood that is provided next to a relaxing hot tub!
THE KITCHEN Having an open-space concept and high ceilings, this 800sqft home feels way larger. Cook while joining the fun as everybody hangs out in the house.

You are welcome to explore the 9-acres of land where the property is nestled. We kindly ask you to respect the privacy of the other property, specially if we have other guests staying.
The land is delimited by pink survey markings, anything beyond that is not our property, so we ask you to stay within the markings.
There is a locked basement below the property, as well as a locked closet that are not accessible during the stay.
Although we will not be present at the property, we are ready available to help via Airbnb chat at any time!
BEARS There may be wildlife on the property and there are black bears in this area of North Carolina so we ask that you don’t leave any food outside. Encounters are rare in our property, but we will share some tips in case you need them!
PETS We allow up to 2 dogs, maximum 50lb each. Our pet fee is a flat $100 fee per stay.
BLINDS Blinds were installed post-pictures and are installed in the bedroom area for privacy. There is an above-bed window, 8-ft tall that does not have blinds.
This home is professionally managed and hosted by the bnb way, LLC Hi! We are your welcoming hosts and we look forward to hosting you. We created the following set of rules and guidelines to make both your guest and our hosting experience a great one!
–Occupancy– You must accurately disclose how many adults and children will occupy the property during your stay If you plan to have visitors exceeding the maximum number already allowed, it may be allowed between 10 am and 10 pm. Please communicate with us. Minimum Age Requirement: you must be at least 23 years old to book this property.
–Smoking– NO SMOKING or Vaping of any kind will take place inside the property. If you smoke outside, please make sure to clean butts and ashes.
–Drugs– Illegal drugs are not allowed in the property and may result in removal of the property, and involving the authorities if necessary.
–Firearms– According to Airbnb article 1529 regarding Rules concerning weapons, guests bringing a firearm should disclose it to hosts.
–Party / Celebration– Parties are strictly prohibited and there is a $1,000 fine, in addition to the expenses incurred to additional cleaning or items broken/missing. You’ll also be required to vacate the premises immediately. Glitter, confetti, fireworks, and Pinatas are prohibited both inside and outside the unit.
Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property. Failure to comply will result in a $1000 fine.
–Quiet Hours– Quiet hours are 10 pm-10 am.
–Monitoring Devices– Monitoring of the unit is for both your and our safety. We may use decibel sensors, ring doorbells, and smart sensors to detect tobacco and/or marijuana. Tampering, disabling, or destroying monitoring devices will be fined $100, the cost of the device if damaged, and/or asked to leave immediately without a refund.
–Maintenance– We handle maintenance issues as quickly as we can. In many cases, we have a short window of time since we are notified of an issue and your arrival time. If we need to access the premises to take care of any issues we will notify you as soon as we can.
Lawn Mowing, pest control, or other scheduled routine controls may happen during your stay. We will notify you in advance.
- Hot Tub- You will be required to sign a waiver as requested by our insurance carrier. This waiver will be included in the reservation information after you book.
–Cancellations– The cancellation policy is available for you before confirming the reservation. Once the reservation has been confirmed, it is assumed you acknowledge the cancellation policy. We recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover any losses due to cancellations. Change of dates follows the cancelation policy.
–Failing to comply House rule violations are grounds for immediate termination of the reservation without a refund We assess the cost of losing the next guest's reservation if this is the result of a house rule violation.
–Pet Policy– We allow up to 2 dogs of 50lb each, for $100 in total. per stay. Dogs over 50lb are not allowed. We reserve the right to decline the accommodation or certain dog breeds.
-Amenities/Appliances- In the event that any amenity or appliance is not functioning before your arrival, we will make every effort to notify you immediately and resolve the issue as soon as possible. If you decide to stay despite any issues, please be aware that you are accepting the amenities provided during your stay
Every Tuesday, Appalachian Spa Services comes onto the property to service and maintain the hot tub.

Perfection in the woods
I have been coming to Asheville for years and plan on returning whenever possible and this is my new go to vacation residence ( if available). It was everything that was pictured and described. A wonderfully designed two bedroom home that I could easily live in full-time. On 9 acres of private wooded land you feel completely rural yet depending on traffic a short 16 or so minute drive to West Asheville or to exits leading directly into downtown. I can’t say enough good things and as stated I will definitely be back!

The perfect mountain getaway
The house is beautiful and modern. Everything was clean and comfy. All of the rooms had everything we’d need for a home away from home. The bright open living space was perfect for looking out at the forest. The beds and linens were so soft and cozy. We slept great both nights. The bathroom was clean and had soft towels. The outside grounds were well kept and the hot tub area looked inviting, however we did t use the hot tub or fire pit during our stay. Melinda and Matthew were very responsive and quick to reply. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in enjoying a beautiful stay in the Asheville mountains. The snacks and coffee bar were a nice touch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tiny home Melinda and Matthew! We will definitely be back.

This property was spotless! The hosts were very responsive and kind, answering questions right away. One thing to note for others is that there are no closets. When I mentioned this to the hosts they said the owner plans to put hooks in the bedrooms. There needs to be a line of generous sized hooks in each room which would help a lot. Next time I will bring some over the door hooks. Also of note is the only window treatments are see through shades in the bedrooms. It is a totally private wooded area but could creep out some people. The afternoon sun coming through the sliders to the porch can get a bit intense. These are small improvements I would suggest. Other than these two things this is a super place and restores my husbands idea of how nice a vacation rental could be when run as well as this place is. Hats off to Matthew and Melinda!
