A few issues with the property we would love to see addressed:-adjusting the arrival date wasn't possible via the website, so we had to call the hotel and track down the person in charge of the VRBO reservations to add a day. Even after confirming this was done (twice), it never reflected on the original reservation.-one of the showers has low pressure and water temperature-the kitchen is poorly stocked for any sort of meal preparation, so if you plan to cook be sure to bring cookware and utensils. No frying pan, baking sheet, very limited utensils.-we stayed here for 6 nights and the wifi was unusable all week. we had to use the spotty cellular service. this is unacceptable for any property in 2026, let alone one managed by a major hotel chain. please fix!We really like this location and the property in general for its convenience to so many surrounding areas, proximity to shopping, dining, and entertainment - and of course the awesome outdoor spaces to explore with our dogs. With a bit of attention to the above items, this property would easily be 5 stars!

Everything was nice. Unfortunately, the WiFi was spotty. This was especially unfortunate since I was there for a conference/business. The TV was outdated as well. No local channels, No smart TV. The interior is in need of updating as well.

Host No Show!

I booked this property and was confirmed by the host for the weekend of June 13th 2025. "Host never replied to my multiple requests for the address and location of key." Vrbo customer service did their best to reach the host by email and phone and offered a refund. I insisted we give the host benefit of the doubt by waiting two more hours to reply to vrbo staff while on my six hour trip to Ashville. The host never replied, had to pull over during trip to communicate with vrbo two times and also find a last minute hotel which isn't what I wanted. What a nightmare, customer beware!

Great value

The place was oerfect for my dog and I, while visiting family in Asheville. The place is very pet friendly. I liked have my own kitchen and living area. The deck looking over the golf course was nice. For the price my top pick going forward

Deceptive add

The listing for this property was somewhat misleading. It advertised two bathrooms, but there was only one. Additionally, there was no mention that the villa was on the second floor and accessible only by stairs. While this is generally not an issue, we brought our elderly dog, who struggles with stairs, so this was an unexpected challenge.The listing also described the property as a "private villa" within the resort, but in reality, each villa contained four separate condo units. Parking was another issue—each villa had only two parking spots shared among four units, making it difficult to find a space.The kitchen was minimally equipped, with only two pots and a frying pan that was too damaged to use. Had the listing been more accurate, we could have brought additional cookware and requested a ground-floor unit.Cleanliness was average for a hotel. The floors were swept and mopped, and the linens were clean and fresh. However, we did find a small drop of blood on the tub ledge. As a pet-friendly unit, some pet hair on the furniture was expected.Check-in and check-out procedures were unclear. When booking through VRBO, private owners often send check-in details shortly before arrival for security reasons. However, this property operates as a hotel, and it would have been helpful if the check-in process had been communicated clearly at the time of reservation. Beautiful but....

It was a beautiful spot, truly. The Villa was nice but when we checked in the desk wasn't really sure of our reservation. The bed pillow had a blood strain on it, door know was loose. The hot tub is a jacuzzi tub but the hot water didn't stay hot enough for it to fill properly.

Very nice resort area. A little bit out of the way, but very nice and quiet. Walking to downtown is difficult, so get an Uber/Lyft

Misleading

Stated there was a spa that gave couples massages. No spa. Stated our villa had a fireplace. No fireplace. Stated the property was cleaned laughable. Couldn’t even walk into the villa without seeing the cob webs everywhere. This was the worse vacation stay ever. Expected a lot more for the price and it was a huge let down. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

mislead

The reservation stated hot tub, when we arrived there was none and we were told there was supposed to be a jetted tub but the unit we had did not even have that. When we opened the windows to let in fresh air their were cob webs in all of them. The TV's were not internet capable and the TV in the bedroom could only have channels changed manually. Finally it listed that the property was .7 miles from Asheville, that is true but it did not mention that it was impossible to walk to due to highways and bridges.

We would definitely stay here again

Small issue with the internet and one TV when we first checked in but, it was fixed within the first day. Also, the deadbolt was not functional. It was a nice and comfortable place to stay for a few days with a small dog. The fireplace was especially nice. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy drive into Asheville.

Beware of this property

We were booked in azalea 1 bedroom and 2 bath with fireplace , crown put us in the piedmont , horrible location with a dirt bike track right behind unit there were 5 to 10 kids hanging around around our back deck all the time , 1 bedroom 1 bath , no fireplace , we spent one night and then complained , crown tried to tell us that they upgraded us (a flat out lie) we finally got a hold of a manger who told us they had already put someone in azalea. He ended up moving us to sugar mountain unit which was much nicer and faced the golf course , we paid quite a lot for this vacation and were very disappointed , so do not book this unit or any other unit in this property , they gave us two free breakfasts which did not make up for what we went through , still contemplating talking to Amex about reversing payment

nice town

The day of our trip, I called the hotel to confirm our reservation, but there was none. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between home away and the hotel. After and hour on the phone back and forth between the two, the hotel had another similar villa for us. I suppose "alls well that ends well", but there was an hour time period when I thought my first wedding anniversary was ruined. In the future, communication between this app and the property manager needs to be more streamlined.

Azalea Villa

This was the perfect place for my friend and me. We loved the setting and enjoyed our stay here. The property was well maintained and we had plenty of space for 2 women. Wish we could have stayed longer, but were on our way to Arlington, Va. Would love to go back for a week next time.

Great little place for family and dog

Great place,.not too fancy but perfect for family and our dog. great wooded area, places all over to walk the dog and full access to the hotel. Very peaceful and nice having 2 full bathrooms. Would stay here again without a doubt.
