We're so happy to hear you found your stay pleasing all round.Regarding your suggestion that we add a porch to our front door, ,we prefer our guests not to smoke immediately outside the front door as it is unpleasant for non-smokers and allows the smell of smoke to permeate the entrance hall. We hope that this arrangement benefits the majority of our guests. The room you had booked was a smaller budget room and we replace used towels each day (unless requested not to) so that the room remains fresh and tidy for our guests to return to. We ensure that we follow many eco-friendly practices throughout our business, but we balance these with the wish to give our guests a well-looked-after stay.Best wishes,,

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. We are naturally very disappointed at your comments and rating. For the benefit of other prospective guests who may be reading this we'd wish to clarify that none of our bedrooms have "small double" sized beds. All of our Double beds are standard UK size (4' 6"), and we also have two rooms which can be made up as Super Kings. As we explained to you when you checked out, we would have been pleased to offer you an alternative room if you had told us the bed was too small when you arrived, as we did have a Super King available at that point. As it was, you texted us at 21:12 hours to let us know you you had gone home due to the bed size, which gave us no opportunity to offer you an alternative. Regarding the noise from the room above, we encourage our guests to keep noise to a respectful level after 22:00 hours, but the occasional conversation from other neighbouring rooms is to be expected during the day and early evening. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations and hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back on a future visit to Arundel.. Best wishes,

We've noted your comments about not wanting to share facilities with other guests, and we do have 4 en-suite rooms but unfortunately don't have space to add private facilities to the remaining rooms.
