« traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples. »

« We have stayed at Old Lock Cottage a few times and every time it has been a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The cottage was recently renovated and decorated to a high standard. Home from home. There is parking for 3 cars. The Boathouse restaurant in the marina is only 5 minutes walk. A great cottage and one we will be happy to return too. »

« This place is little better than a youth hostel: unwelcoming, grim, dirty and unsafe. You would do better sleeping in a skip. There are no human beings involved in the entire process; all communication is through WhatsApp. Upon "registering" you are presented with a series of additional charges not mentioned on the booking site before "check-in".
