« L’appartement est très bien. L’hôte très sympathique et disponible. Il réagit vite en cas de problème. Le seul problème (indépendant de l’hôte) est que c’est proche de la gare de train. Les trains klaxonnent fort à toute heure, et on les entend bien. Si vous y allez pour plusieurs jours, c’est ok; on s’habitue. Mais pour un court séjour ça peut être problématique si vous êtes sensible au bruit. »

« This is a scam. Expedia refuses to take responsibility for the fact that this guy is ripping people off using their platform. They say they can only ask him to provide a refund. As if he will do that when the property does not exist. Expedia does not do proper due diligence when listing properties. They are a security risk for making payments through their platform. I will not book through their site ever again. »

« We didn’t actually stay at this property. We made a reservation for this place on February 1st and the reservation was accepted and booked. Five months later with less than 18 hours before check in we were told that we were being moved and that it was an “upgrade”. We were moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom walk up apartment, hardly what could be considered an upgrade. « Our guesthouse was beautiful and immaculately clean. We could see the ocean, the mountains, and downtown Anchorage from our location. The house was decorated with tasteful appointments and gave off a very homey and relaxing place to stay. Donna, our hostess was very informative about the home and also local attractions and history of the area. She was always available for our questions but simultaneously made herself in the background unless we specifically requested a want or concern. She...

« Julia was a wonderful host. The 0North (annex with two suites) was furnished with stylish modern / Scandanavian decor. Comfy bed. Great downtown location! Free off street parking. Small kitchen was well stocked with a delicious selection of light snacks and beverages. The only down side would be the narrow steep flight of stairs that would make the 0North suites non-accessible for anyone with mobility challenges. Would definitely stay here if we are ever in Anchorage again. »
