« Best old fashioned hospitality vacation rental ever! We loved the updated historic log cottage and our hosts do VRBO the way it was before corporate rentals took over and furnished everything with IKEA. The art, very well stocked kitchen, and extra touches made our stay stress free and comfortable even in sub zero temps with a crazy windstorm. The tree in the front was blown over and Lee had it cleaned up in less than half a day while we were out and it wasn’t even in the way (thank God)....

« We had a really lovely stay at this little yellow house. Very comfortable for our family of six, which included one kid, three grandparents and two parents. Very centrally located to everything you need to get to in Anchorage. We rented a car for longer excursions but if you just want to stay in the city, you can uber just about everywhere for less than $15. We also walked to downtown a few times for museums. The host was super responsive, property was clean and quiet. House was well appointed...

« This small cottage was great . It was just big enough for a couple. You can park your car right in front of this specific unit making easy to unload groceries and what not . Communication is great . I asked very specific questions before I rented all were answered quickly and I booked just as quick. No smoking in the units themselves but they have a awesome dedicated smoking area next to the fire pit. One thing tho theres dog poop on the grass it hides under the leaves. I couldn't figure out...

« Overall very good stay just shy of excellent. There were a couple of minor details that weren't deal breakers but were minor annoyances - master bathroom outlet didn't work, ice maker in fridge didn't work, slight odor downstairs on day one. Laundry and dishwasher all worked and there was soap and detergent there already which was very nice. Like i said though this was a very good stay and i would not hesitate to stay again. »

"We had a problem with arriving 04/13/2025. At four PM, the room was not ready. Later a first room was given but when coming in, it has not been cleaned. A second room was attributed but it was the same. Then a third room was given and it was update. This courtesy has been appreciated by my wife and me. Except that incident the stay in this hotel was perfect. "
