« This is an apartment not a house (in case you thought so based on the description). Overall it was in good condition. The terrace with view on Jungfrau was nice. The beds were comfortable but I wish it had bigger duvet and more pillows. If you arrive by car be aware that you need to leave it in Lauterbrunnen (this is what “parking nearby” means). The communication with owner was good and the instructions were clear. »

« We did not realize that property is not accessible by car. You have to take a train to reach Wengen and then from there it’s a 20 minute walk uphill to property or a 25 franc cab ride. Cabin is separated by upstairs from downstairs with only shower being upstairs. You have to walk outside property and up stairs to reach top floor. Cabin was clean and kitchen very well appointed with spectacular views and vistas. »

« Chalet au calme très bien situé, bien équipé, avec un accueil agréable. Très confortable pour 11 personnes. Malgré quelques équipements défectueux (lunette de toilette casée !). Contact local agréable cependant ne répondant que de façon intermittente. »

« What a great place to stay in Brienz! The house is on an absolutely beautiful street with great views of the surrounding mountains. The house was extremely clean and really comfortable. The low ceilings remind you that you are in an historic place. Our boys loved swimming in the lake each day and the house is only steps from the water. »
