« So beautiful »

« On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. Rooms were not serviced. For $1,000 for two nights, it was definitely not worth the money and would say, was the worst place we’ve stayed in Pokolbin. Very...

« The positive first: A very nice and helpful lady is the keeper of the place. Unfortunately the negative is heavy. Everything is very old, the room is small, the mattress is terrible, the tiny bathroom is smelly and a major noisy road passes 100 meters away. The breakfast is not on site but in a coffee shop on the other side of the busy road. I booked far ahead of our trip to Australia and paid 260 AUD per night, more than I paid in 4 star hotels in downtown Sydney or Melbourne. This is a...

« Beautiful elegant room and a super comfortable bed. The grounds and gardens were delightful. Our host was lovely and helpful. My only negative is the horrible acrylic blankets on the bed, hot and uncomfortable to sleep under. We will be back with byo blankets. »

« Very clean comfortable & easy to deal with »

« Matériel de cuisine très ancien et sale Piscine pas entretenue, eau polluée par les feuilles d'arbres. Prix exorbitant par rapport à la prestation. A éviter. »

« Overall, it was a good experience. »

« The room was neat and really well put together. I’d totally recommend it! The pool was ready for a swim, though we didn’t quite have enough time to enjoy everything the place had to offer. »

« We stay in the Studio 1 accommodation and the layout with comfortable 3 seater couch and King size bed and great bathroom layout. Our only regret was we should have stayed a few extra nights. »

« Cabin was clean and had everything you would need plus extras. Kitchen well equipped, lounge and bed very comfortable. Nice to sit outside on the veranda. Only downside was the bathroom is very small and hard to use the sink to clean teeth plus one side of the bed is against a wall. But overall a great place to stay for a few days. »

« Lovely out look sort walk to surf beach’s and shops very mellow small town »

« Warm comfortable bed and room on a cold Armidale night after a long drive. There was wonderful fire burning downstairs which radiated warmth throughout the guesthouse. A sunroom provided some lovely afternoon sun on arrival. Easy walk into town for an evening meal. Attention to the little details made this guesthouse a great experience. »

« Excellent location. Clean and tidy property with everything you need. Within walking distance to local beach. »
