« David is a great host. Very quick to respond. The cottage is very clean. Internet was fast. Beautiful quiet area. Good to arrive to Coffee & tea and biscuits and milk in the fridge, cleaning products and bin bags all the basics. The central heating was on when I arrived late at night so the cottage was cosy and warm. Plenty of hot water. The kitchen and dining area is very light and spacious with great views of countryside. The cottage is next to a working farm so lots of sheep and cows....

« Property was shown (map and description) as being on mainland but was, in fact, on an island. Tried for months to get a refund but both property owners and Expedia pointed me back to the other. Over and over and over for months. No one would own the mistake despite screen shots, etc. Will never book anything from either again. Sykes Cottages in Scotland. »
