« Very beautiful house with all the necessary amenities.The owners are very kind and helpful.The cleanliness is incredible.The view is beautiful and the location is perfect for visiting Oban or Fort William.The only slight downside is the view of the camper van area from some rooms in the house, but it's a minor detail. »

« We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here. »

« Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). « An excellent short break, very relaxing. Weather not great but expected due to the time of year, this didn't spoil the week. Staff were excellent and most helpful. The Jamming session of local musicians in the middle of the week was a treat »

« The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna. »
