Hôtel très agréable, facile d'accès sur la route de Madrid. Excellent accueil. Grandes chambres, très propres. Nous nous sommes arrêtés à deux reprises, à l'aller et au retour de nos vacances.

Ce n'est pas un 3 étoiles
Un 3 étoiles a ce tarif était surprenant, effectivement cet hôtel à besoin de rénovation, même s'ils ont déjà commencé. Nous étions passé dans cet hôtel il y a 25 ans, même si le service reste correcte ce n'est pas un 3 étoiles et donc le prix n'est pas une promotion mais juste une mise à niveau du prix par rapport au service proposé.

Chambre en face de l’ascenseur !!!!! Très très bruyant Chambre mal isolée phonétiquement car nous entendions chaque personne dans le couloir. Nuit très mauvaise . Lit de mauvaise qualité et qui grince. Restaurant de très bonne qualité avec une serveuse très gentille.

Really good for an over night stop over
It is a bit difficult to find but once there the reception and the room are easy to find. The room was good and offered good value for money. It was close to the autoroute but the room was totally silent. We had an evening meal and the meal was good value and enjoyable. We also had breakfast which was good with plenty of variety.

Belle chambre, moderne, et très agréable
Très bonne nuitée dans cet hôtel ; j'y suis venue il y a maintenant quelques années, mais surprise cette année certaines chambres ont été rénovées, très modernes, chics et très propres, rien à redire, belle chambre fonctionnelle, belle salle de douche, accueil charmant, bon restaurant

Very beautiful room & surroundings super cheap
The staff were helpful and poilte on arival, offering a wide range of spoken languages. Pleanty of parking. Very easy to find off the road. The room and bathroom were *huge*. Everything was comfortable and clean. Shower was good. pleanty of palces to hang and dry towels. Air conditioning was available and easy to use. The hotel had this retro, worn out luxury feel to it. The check out time is late so you don't have to rush off. I didn't see it when I arived late at night but in the morning on leaving the hotel I saw the view from the front of the hotel which went on forever and I thought it was beautiful. For what I paid this hotel was really, really nice.

Hotel très confortable, bien situé, parfaite étape
Hotel ancien mais très belle chambre de grand confort climatisation discrète (sauf au retour de notre voyage ou la clim était bruyante dans la chambre que nous avons eue), coin salon, lit en 160 très confortable (matelas neuf). Seul bémol, petit déjeuner au comptoir pas très copieux. Éviter le restaurant qui n'est pas bon. Sinon c'est parfait pour une étape, et d'un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Avons passe à l'aller comme au retour une excellente nuit.

Un hôtel très fonctionnel pour les petits budgets. L'état extérieur l'hôtel fait un peu peur, mais de qu'on dépasse la porte, nous avions été agréablement surpris.

hotel bien situé en bordure de route, la chambre est parfaite pour une nuit de repos au calme. Nous avons apprécié notre promenade dans le jardin.

This hotel has gone downhill. Because of walking difficulties we were promised a ground floor room but got the same room as 2 weeks ago. No customer care as the hotel was no way near half full and they had plenty of rooms to select from. This is my very last visit to the hotel which I have used since 2015 when it was an hotel. Stay there at your own risk.

Good afternoonWe are very sorry that his stay was not pleasant.Please note that regarding the rooms on the ground floor, we only have 7 of which some are standard rooms and others are economical (single, triple and double).The issue of giving them a room on the first floor is because the clients who were on the ground floor had the reservation before you and they also requested a ground floor.It is impossible for us to give all the rooms requested on the ground floor since there is not much availabilityGreetings

We last stayed at this hotel in October 2023 and the receptionist suggested a groundfloor room close to the main area because of my disability.Perfect. In December 30/12/2023 I wrote asking for the same room when we arrive 04/04/24. On arrival we were told immediately that there is no afternoon lunch and that there is no bar service. The kitchen and bar would be open that evening. Next we were given room 162, first floor which was 30yds from the lift with the room approx. 80 yds from the lift. I asked about our request for our previous room to be told she knew nothing of our request, the room was let and it was no longer considered a budget room. I then asked because of my disability and shortness of breath could she move us to either a groundfloor room or one nearer the lift. i was told that the hotel was full, yet the car park was quite empty. We are due to stay there on the 18/04/24, we have requested a groungfloor room and we shall see what happens. We have been using this hotel since 2016 and have seen the standards slowly slipping but this last stay reached a very standard.

Good morningWe are very sorry for the problem you had with the room on April 4.Please note that on the ground floor we only have 7 rooms (1 room for 3 people, 1 for 1 person and the rest are doubles), of which we only have 3 economical double rooms and the rest are standard.If clients who have made reservations before you have asked us for a room on the ground floor like you (and they ask us for many), it may well be that we do not have any available that day.Whenever clients ask us for something, be it a double room, or a ground floor or upper floor, we always try to give it to them, but there are times when it is totally impossible, since the ground floor is quickly sold out.Best regards

Great for a one night stopover on the way to Bilbao for the ferry. Easy to find just off the motorway and yet no noise could be heard in the room. Easy check in, lovely room, dog friendly and a good price. Adjoining bar great for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Perfekt!
Alt var perfekt! Dejligt og hundevenligt hotel. Stort værelse med to lænestole og bord, god seng. Vi rejste med hund og fik et værelse i stueetagen. Vores hund var med i hotellets hyggelige bar, hvor vi fik serveret mad fra restauranten. Menukortet havde mange lækre retter at vælge imellem. Vi var ovenud tilfredse med både aftensmaden og morgenmaden.

Our room was in need of refurbishment, as it was really tatty. The only lights in the room were 2 dim wall lights, a standard lamp didnt work. And the wifi was very weak . It took more than 40 minutes for our breakfast order to arrive.

Perfect for a ferry stopover
One night stopover on the way to the Santander ferry. The hotel is easy to access, plenty of parking. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Bar prices were good, didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment there. All in all, a bit of a find and will definitely be staying there again.

A great find for pet owners
Montemoso is a great hotel on the way to ferry just of the motorway. Lovely big room spotlessly clean. Really helpful friendly staff. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but we ate in the bar as we could take our dog in there. Food was really good and not expensive. Definitely a find we’ve been a few times on the way to the ferry.

Very convenient to A1 from Madrid, exit at the north Aranda de Duero exit and it is just south of the roundabout. Staff helpful, hotel built in 1970 and the restaurant seemed to be popular. Quiet comfortable room. Recommended. North of town.
