The staff as always were Super friendly. This is the 2nd stay me and my family have had here. And they never disappoint. It was unfortunate our original room wasn’t available due to renovations. We were then upgraded to a bungalow. Probably wise of them to inform us prior to checking in via phone call.

Slow Season Letdown
We visited during the COVID-19 lockdown in Samoa which meant that hotel services were sparse. While the room was still great, we were really disappointed in the availability (and cost!) of food options and ate most of our meals away from the hotel. We also had the housekeeping walk in on us without knocking which was a bit embarrassing. She did apologize, but for what we paid to stay at this hotel - and to support them during a time of slow business - I was actually quite disappointed. There are many other options for higher end hotels in Apia and I’ll probably choose another next time.

It was immaculate and our garden fale was gorgeous and so quiet! Loved the pool but the bar there was never staffed, and we would often have to ask people three or four times for pool towels and things like that.

The only complaint i have staying here is that i wish i stayed here longer than one night!!! From the service, to the food and to the rooms; everything was excellent. Breakfast was amazing as there were soo many options to choose from and more importantly delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here

was booking my hotels for a stay in Sept and accidently set the date for the same day I was making the booking (2 months earlier). I found out about the mistake 2 days later when asked to rate my stay and contacted the hotel to explain the situation. The response was that as my contact was after the booking and therefore it was marked as a no show and no refund or transfer of date was possible. I then found out the later date would have been only 60% of the price I paid. Very poor from this hotel.

The staff here is amazing. So kind, welcoming and professional. We arrived late and exhausted. The check in was fast and easy (staff was so friendly). They brought us a much appreciated refeshing, cold welcome drink during check-in! Then, Ketsu was so kind to carry our oversized heavy bags to our room and give us a quick room orientation. The rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed (robes, slippers, iron/board, complimentary bottles of water). The AC was so cold (this isn't always the case in other hotels we stayed in Samoa). Buffett breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The pool is beautiful and clean. We had free wi-fi (a real luxury in Samoa, this may have been because I was a Marriott Bonvoy member, but still free wi-fi and happy teens). The beds and bedding were so comfortable and nice pillows. The bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. The only complaint is that the shower is poorly designed. The water flows over the stall edge into the bathroom floor area. However housekeeping is so fantastic that we would shower, leave a big mess and come back to our rooms shortly after and the bathroom was perfectly clean, dry and sparkling. The staff in the lobby were so helpful snd able to assist us with eveything we needed. Easy checkout too. Huge thank you to the best staff Lealofisa and Heleina! Really enjoyed our stay here and the location is the most convient on downtown Apia area.

pool was great as was the terrace for drinks (on closer inspection of the lovely black and white pictures there were simple photocopies in frames) , drinks service slow, someone stole my shorts from outside of my room, constant dripping tap, plug did not work in the bath (but who wants a bath in 30C heat), stained mirror,clearly not cleaned under sink/ behind or above furniture. Had an awful meal with inedible salad and sent it back. if you like pizza, steaks and simple food you will be fine. vegetarian/vegan options slim to non-existant. overall DON'T do it spend more money at another resort/stay on the coast. Apia itself is not exciting.

Happy with everything except the outdoor tiles that were everywhere were extremely slippery when wet which is a massive safety issue as it rains basically every day in the wet season and they are also all around the pool areas! Everyone including the staff had to walk very carefully to avoid slipping over. This should be a priority to be rectified. Also a another minor issue was the size of the drinking glasses, they were basically the size of shot glasses, maybe slightly bigger. People were getting two or three glasses to make one decent drink.

On arrival we were told we'd been upgraded to a bungalow but that was dark in the day time and very small so we asked for another room and this was not a problem for the staff, by the afternoon of our first day we were in a superior room that was much better. I would not recommend the bungalows. Staff were amazing and nothing was a problem I could not fault their service.

We like the blend of western and Samoan architectural buildings. We would love to see more of Samoan themes in the foyer as your guests arrive. That’s the disappointment we noticed as we entered. The entrance is more like any western or European characteristics we experienced in many places we stayed over the years. We expect more of Samoan uniqueness in her proud culture and traditions.

Good location, close to the market and city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, provide very good service. The breakfast buffet got lots of choice and the breads and food were tasty. Let's talk about the things I don't like: the white cushion cover for pool side chairs are dirty, tile floor around the pool is not clean enough. Quality of toilet paper was so poor. Neighbour's dog barking during the night and early morning every day, not suggest for people with light sleep.
