Bonne adresse mais chambre un peu basique

Hôtel confort avec un accueil peu amène.
Hôtel bien situé, à quelques minutes du métro groenplaats, soit en plein centre-ville. Les communs sont bien entretenus, tout comme la chambre. Autre point positif, l'accès gratuit à un petit encas et une boisson chaude ou froide à partir de 16h30. Par contre, nous avons été déçus par l'exiguïté de la chambre, certes il était mentionné que la chambre était petite mais pas à ce point (10 m2!!...De plus, le check in a été expéditif, sans aucune information sur quoi que ce soit, avec l'envie évidente de passer à autre chose....autant être accueilli par un robot !!! En somme, un séjour plus que mitigé, il faut éviter les chambres les plus économiques pour profiter de cet établissement...

Très bel établissement. Localisation parfaite. Restauration très qualitative. Merci pour la gentille attention pleine de bulles :) qui nous attendait dans la chambre. Et quel bonheur que de se réchauffer avec la cheminée présente dans la chambre. Je recommande vivement.

Nice hotel for business trip
This contemporary hotel is situated perfectly in Antwerp city centre. 2min walk to the Grote Markt. I arrived quite late and night shift personnel was friendly and helpful. Welcome drink has been offered. Room was nice & functionnal. Coffee & tea available in the room but without cups, only glasses (a bit strange). The desk was tiny, complicated to work with PC. Breakfast was ok and served at the table but without fruit salad. I would recommend self service breakfast.

décevant, arnaqueur
Réservation validée pour 3 personnes, on me recontacte pour me dire qu'il faut réserver une chambre supplémentaire car les chambres sont prévues pour un couple avec enfant en bas âge seulement, alors que sur le site on peut réserver jusqu'à l'âge de 17 ans. Impossible d'annuler la réservation, les clients sont pris au piège. Arrivés sur place on nous réclame encore 8.32€ de taxes alors que j'avais déjà payé les taxes sur internet. Merci à Expédia d'avoir résolu notre problème de chambre. Il faut savoir que l'hôtel n'est pas à son premier coup d'essai, lors de notre arrivée à la réception un couple était en discussion avec la patronne de l'hôtel car ils se sont fait rouler comme nous, leur fille avait environ 10 ans. Ils devaient prendre une deuxième chambre. Preuve que c'est bien voulu.

Je ne suis pas satisfait de cet établissement. Ce que je recherche avant tout quand je dors à l’hôtel c’est d’avoir une literie confortable (ferme mais pas trop) afin de bien dormir, une taille de matelas qui correspond à un standard 90cm pour une personne. Avoir un peu de rangement qui n’ m’oblige pas à laisser mes affaires dans la valise tout le séjour… Bref pour 122 €/nuit j’ai eu le droit d’avoir un mal de dos (literie trop mole) j’ai failli tomber du lit, j’ai eu froid (la couette n’est pas restée longtemps sur mon dos) sans compter les wc devant la table de chevet avec une porte vitrée qui n’isole ni de la vue et encore moins du bruit. J’allais oublier de vous parler des canalisations des étages supérieurs qui vous donnent l’impression de couler dans la chambre. J’ai apprécié prendre un verre en soirée mais ce n’ai vraiment pas une priorité quand vous passez une nuit horrible et une journée de mal au dos…

Through the various media we try to explain the size of the room, 12 M2, and we will investigate how we can make this even more clear. Also in our rooms the toilet is always separated from the bedroom, it is a mistake to assume that all toilets are "in the open”. And regarding the Auping Boxspringbeds, together with our supplier, we have chosen a matrass that fits most people their preferences, unfortunately sometimes it does not. Fortunately you also left us a message you did enjoy the free drinks & bites and the location of Banks, right in the city centre, putting everything at a walking distance. Nous avons aimé l'hotel le happy hour proposé mais le petit déjeuner est à déconseiller car pas de buffet ils nous donnent un petit déjeuner qui n'a pas correspondu à nos attentes trop de charcuterie et pas assez de fruits etc...ils devraient demander ce qu'on aime et donc mauvais rapport qualité prix. d'autre part le personnel est souvent absent à la réception

Trendy, friendly hotel in the very centre of town
We really liked the style of Banks. Very “design” with lots of original art work and installations. We thought it reflected the independent, arty style of Antwerp and it offered a great base for a weekend visit to the city for the first time. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. Our room was a little small and the floor a little cold but we had a good night’s sleep. The only thing that I really did find fault with (and I think it’s been mentioned many times before) is that you can hear every door in the corridor slamming. They really need to insulate the rooms better or cushion the doors so that they don’t slam. But overall, this is a minor point. We didn’t hear any noise from other rooms and I think the hotel was pretty full the night we stayed. The tapas and drinks were great, we loved the concept and on a Saturday night it was busy and lively with hotel guests enjoying a drink and a chat together. The bar area is really cool and they even had a fire going surrounded by lovely comfy sofas. We had a couple of glasses of cava and some good quality appetisers before heading out for dinner. Oh, and the girls behind the bar where very nice indeed – great atmosphere all round. So if you’re looking for a trendy, friendly hotel in the very centre of town I would recommend Banks. We had a lot of fun.

L’hôtel est moderne mais pas de coffre dans les chambre, pas de bureau non plus. La salle de bain en parois de verre pourquoi pas mais cela n’empêche en rien une insonorisation. Pas de climatisation non plus.

Emplacement idéal, staff irréprochable...
Banks est idéalement situé, au coeur de la vieille ville. Le personnel est très souriant et aimable. La propreté irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner servi sur table est bon et complet. Cette adresse est très bonne. Un bémol, pour en émettre un : la chambre était très petite. Mais si vous prenez une chambre pur y dormir et non pour y vivre, où est le souci ? Je vous souhaite un excellent séjour à Antwerpen.

trop bruyant sans presence la nuit
chambre petite mais acceptable avec une bouilloire, mais il y a eu du bruit les 2 nuits que nous y avons passé sans pouvoir se plaindre puisqu'il n'y a ersonne entre 20h et 8h du matin.Le petit déjeuner ne commence qu'à 8h le week end et il faut un bon quart d'heure de préparation, ce qui ne permet pas de partir tot si l'étape le justifie.Sinon, il est bien placé.

Loved the convenience of being close to the center of the old town. The room was comfortable albeit small. The toilet facing the head of the bed took me by surprise. Enjoyed the free "aperitivo" every evening, offering snacks and good quality wines and beer.

Blir nok dessverre ikke en tur hit igjen
Fin plassering, vennlige ansatte. Veldig små senger som gjør at man ikke får sove skikkelig. Toalettet ikke rengjort skikkelig. Glassvindu mellom senger og dusj/toalett. Veldig bra frokost.

Lovely stay at Banks for the second time. Only complaint was no air con so be prepared to keep windows/ doors open or use the fan provided.

Nice Lobby area to hangout. With extra complementary snacks/ tapas & drinks for free. Only minus: -The toilet is not well insulated from the rest of the room to prevent smell spread over the rest of the room. - walls are too thin, you can hear everything from the hallway and the neighbors.

Designhotel mit Kunst für zu Hause.
Das Banks ist ein Designhotel in zentraler Lage von Antwerpen. Keine zehn Minuten zum Großen Platz bzw zur Liebfrauenkathedrale. Unser Upgrade auf eine Juniorsuite war ein Bonbon des Hauses. Morgens gab es ein vielseitiges Frühstückbufet. Am 2.Tag sogar mit Brötchen. Gerne haben wir die Tapas und Getränke (Kostenlos) in der Zeit von 16:30 bis 20 Uhr in Anspruch genommen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Keine 100m befindet sich das Parkhaus Cammerporte, in dem wir unser Auto für 21 Euro/Tag unterstellen konnten. Wir würden das Bsnks auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.
