Beware beware!   Cash in advance only accepted!   We arrived at this hotel after a long travel day to be told that we must pay in cash, up front,  for our two nights stay because “the bank machine isn’t working”.  We asked when it would be working they essentially said “never” and only cash was accepted. We asked to see the room, which was quite lovely, so we agreed to pay cash after each night’s stay.  
Otherwise:
Positives:   We had a lovely suite, which was spacious, comfortable, with a huge balcony overlooking the sea.  The hotel’s location is fabulous.   There was a good breakfast served in a pleasant garden.  
Negatives:   The area is a bit noisy, with a loud bar nearby.   We had no hot water for our first day, but it was fixed.  The internet was sketchy, especially at night.  Our bathroom and bedroom had a musty smell.  There was a full kitchen, with frig, stove and dishwasher, but very few dishes, no pots and pans or bowls.  
The spa and restaurant weren’t open.  
Apparently there was only one key to our room, and we had to leave it with staff when we went out so that they could fix the hot water.  We asked if there would be someone on the desk when we returned later that evening.  They said yes.  But when we returned at 7:00 pm, reception was closed, and our room key had been left outside essentially available to anyone.
Needless to say, we were disappointed.
This hotel has great potential but something strange is going on with it right now.
