We loved our stay at the Funky Dutchman. We enjoyed all the amenities and our dogs loved the fenced yard. We had so much fun playing games and hanging out in the yard. The area is nice and very close to Hershey park. The hosts have thought of everything you’d need to have a comfortable stay. Check in and out was very easy. The house is in a nice neighborhood. Host Kyle is very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend 100%!

I think our favorite hosts are the ones who communicate in a timely manner, pay attention to details, and help you feel cozy in their space. The Funky Dutchman checked off all those boxes and more. Two sets of families with a total of seven kids ranging from 5-17 years old, and not a one was bored. Great choice of games in the game room, the movie space was a clever use of the walkthrough, and the little reading nooks allowed for any of us to get some quiet time. Thank you for your hospitality and taking care of us!

What a great place to get away to with the family. Just got back and if I could rate Funky Dutchman a 10 we would. They thought of everything and more. The host was amazing to work with for suggestions in the area, especially restaurants since never being up this way. Will highly recommend to our family and friends when heading to Hersey area. This house was amazing, so many of the small details were taken care of, and you felt welcome and could relax. Very close to the big attraction of Hershey and shopping. The hot tub, pool, game room, and theater were used daily. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, and parking out back by the garage was not a big deal. The traffic out front was the only negative. The host answered all our questions in a timely manner. Would definitely stay there again, if in the area.

Our Family of 5 from Louisiana had a weekend trip planned to Hershey, PA and I chose to stay here instead of hotel options offered at Hershey Park and would 100% do it again!The short drive daily was well worth it and the pics are what you see and more! So much work has been done to the house to offer a comfortable and fun experience for the whole family. There is also restaurants available close by and literally one across the street for the nights or mornings you don’t want to cook with excellent food!To top it off Kyle was very responsive to any questions and extremely accommodating.I would highly recommend The Funky Dutchman!

The best home

I absolutely loved this home. It was beyond equipped it came with everything and I do mean EVERYTHING that you could possibly need. The owners were super nice, hospitable and available although I only needed to call them to compliment them for going above my expectations in regards to a vacation getaway spot. The themes and decor was so original, I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you for this experience this home was absolutely beautiful and welcoming

Exceptional Service!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Funky Dutchman. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Communication was fantastic and we never had to wait more than 10 to 15 minutes for a response. I would definitely stay there again.

Great House

This is a great house in a perfect location (it’s on a Main Street though, so traffic can be annoying at times). The house has everything we needed like if we were home. The kids stayed entertained with the games, pool, and movies. Our main location was Hershey and this was just 20 mins away. There is plenty to do in the area and a ton of places to go for food, entertainment, and shopping. The host was very responsive to us if needed. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

Weekend stay

My family had their second stay at this property. We were in Annville for my daughter’s graduation. Home is walking distance from everything but there is so much to do at the home you really don’t need to leave!

Amazing Experience!

Wow! This was, by far, the best VRBO we have ever stayed at while on vacation! The owners thought of every single thing we could possibly need which made everyone happy. I can't say enough great things about the communication, options at the house, location of the house, and the tiny little details the homeowners took care of. Great winter break

We were hoping for a great escape for us and our granddaughters during their winter break and the Funky Dutchman did not disappoint! The gardens and zoo are surprisingly fun in the winter and Chocolate World can easily fill a day. Best of all, though, was hanging out at the house. We all loved the hot tub even in 20 degree weather! The game room was a big hit too, especially foosball. We watched movies in the theater room every night. With popcorn. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family dinner, but we also had a great meal at a fun restaurant right across the street. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome place!

The Funky Dutchman was an amazing place! The owners really stocked this place with everything you could possibly think of and were very responsive! The game room was a huge hit, as well as all of the character that the house had. We loved how close we were to the Rotunda Brew Pub, and just a short drive to all of the Hershey attractions. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to all of our friends and family!

Best Rental Ever!

We booked the Funky Dutchman for our daughter’s birthday trip to Hershey Park. The home was beautifully decorated and had fall decor throughout. We couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved the home. The owners have thought about every detail and supplied everything you would need during your stay. The girls had so much fun with all the games, movie room and hot tub. We couldn’t have booked a better place to stay! We have already discussed coming back for future trips to Hershey. The town of Annville is also a gem with restaurants and coffee shops walking distance away. The owners had great communication about checking in and out but we really didn’t need to contact them at all as everything was clearly written down throughout the home. Thank you so much for a great place to stay!! It was a trip we will remember forever!

GREAT STAY AMAZING HOUSE WE WILL RETURN

We had a great time and can't wait to return! Owners were so great so easy to work with and made this totally stress free! The communication from the owners and instructions and directions were the best we have experienced in terms of renting a home. House was amazing in all ways and accurately pictured but even the pictures do not fully do it justice!

Great spot!

The Funky Dutchman was the best kind of funky! Everything was very clean, well stocked, so nice they provide sheets and towels and so much more! The kids (ranging from ages 4 to 9) had a BLAST - so much to do between the game room, movie room, pool, hot tub, smores by the fire and more. Easy drive to Hershey each day. The hosts communication was great. Would definitely stay again!

Great weekend

A few old friends from college get together 1-2x a year to catch up and we landed at the Funky Dutchmen for a great weekend away. Super clean and adorable. So many extras included! Linens, towels, soap, coffee, ziplock bags, etc. It was great! We enjoyed hanging out at the house, utilized the hot tub and proximity to Hershey. We enjoyed the brewery right across the street as well. Everything was great. The only issue we ran into was that the there was no where to hang up clothes. Closets were secured for what I assume to be the owner’s belongings. We were only there for a couple days so it wasn’t a big deal. If we planned to stay longer, it might have been a challenge. Minor thing really. It’s a great house.

Wowsa is right!!!

Our weekend trip was made even more wonderful by our stay at this amazing home! We spent an hour when we first got there just taking everything in! The attention to detail was well thought out and nothing was missed! We felt so at home and wished our trip would have lasted longer! The house was stocked with everything you can imagine and was so clean. The location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. Communication with the owner, Kyle was wonderful. Highly recommend

This house is impeccably clean,well laid out and roomy. The yard is completely fenced in so it’s safe for children and pets. Host is very very nice and always reachable. I highly recommend the Funky Dutchman!
