The house was very clean. The house is very old and the electrical wiring needs to be updated. The use of extension cords for the air conditioners is a concern and the lights in the upstairs bathroom flickered a lot. Also there are gaps around the window units,that allowed a few bugs in, but nothing awful. Some plastic or foam around them would help The house is very roomy and there were 6 of us and everyone had their own space. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, they were very quick to assist with any questions or need. It was very hot and the air conditioners kept the house cool and comfortable. We had a great weekend at Hershey Park and the Luke Bryan concert.

We liked the spacious rooms, parking, great response of host, charning decor and location. Didn't like window AC units which cooled the house but let in bugs. Nor did we like the extension cords used with AC units. Is it safe? The house is large but old and dated. There is also radiator heating. We did not like stained linens and stained comforters on bed.

Grandma’s Thrift

It seems as if someone investigated grandmas house and filled it with thrift finds and fake flowers. The location was great for the reason we were there. One bedroom furniture was a bit shakey and nervous to sleep on. A wall sconce in the bathroom would not go off when turning off the switch, made me nervous to leave. Nice amount of room for the five of us. We didn’t cook while there, but seemed well equipped. Not a lot of fine detail to the painting and floor coverings,(paint on the windows, torn floor tiles, etc. And the floors were slick! I typically don’t like wearing shoes in the house, but after about falling a few times in socks

Served our needs

It wasn’t the “fully equipped “ kitchen that we expected. There were no dish towels or hot pads or large spoons for stirring. The location was very convenient but road noise was constant in the front bedroom. We had a 10 and 12 year old kids and there was nothing for them to do. No basement or play equipment outside.
