Beautiful property!
As advertised and great communication with owner. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. The ski out wasn't super easy, but we managed to do it! It was nice to be off a green run for those of us who need to get our "sea legs" first. We loved the seclusion of the house and the hot tub was a welcome relief at the end of the day. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks Luke!

Seclusion on the Slopes
If you want to escape the crowds found at the base of Angel Fire, this place is excellent. Ski-in/out works perfectly. The property is great for all ages; our grandkids enjoyed all the games offered, the parentals enjoyed the fireplace.

Winter Wonderland

Great ski cabin
We loved this cabin! Beautiful and just the right size for a small family. We were able to ski in and ski out to "Headin' Home" which made the weekend very convenient. The hosts were extremely communicative and helpful even though we stayed through Christmas Eve. They were attentive via text, everything was provided and clean and ready to go when we arrived. Thanks for a great stay, we'll definately come again!

Perfect home and location!
This home was the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed at, out of many! The location was gorgeous and private with endless opportunities to explore. The house had everything you could want, and then some. Hosts were VERY responsive to our questions. Big snow the day we left, wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs for our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and has incredible views out every window. It’s very secluded and you can’t see other houses around you. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with anything you could need. It is up the mountain pretty far, so it does take about 20 minutes to get to a grocery store. We took our dogs for walks just on the roads and found gorgeous views and saw a lot of wildlife. If you’re looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway this is the right place. We hope to come back anytime we can!

Peaceful Forest Getaway
This is the location if you are looking for a peaceful place above the tree line. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Evenings in the hot tub amongst the stars were incredible. Sitings of deer, elk, and turkeys were a common daily experience in this location. I highly recommend this location and property.

Modern Mountain Cabin
This was a beautiful property with amazing views. Everything was fully stocked and ready for our visit. We loved playing games, doing puzzles and sitting in the hot tub at night. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Mostly Awesome/One-Time Slip Up?
The cabin’s location near the top of the mtn. so close to the trails, was amazing! We had mtn bikers in our group of eight (adults & teens) to enjoy the trails for the off-season, so this made it super convenient and ideal. I do see the reviews have been really high, so thinking that this is a unique situation and hoping Luke can get everything lined up nicely again for the next guests. We all felt the cabin was not ready for our arrival; dirty floors showing up on our socks within 1/2 hr of arrival, not sufficiently stocked with supplies; bath towels/kitchen garbage bags/foil or food wrap. The jacuzzi needed to be topped off with water from the hose underneath second story deck, before we could even use it. The grill contained two empty propane tanks, water pressure was pretty weak for showers and dish washing. The host, Luke, was very responsive, polite, informative about attractions, he just did not respond with the answers we were hoping for during our stay…he apologized and refunded one nights stay. He gave us instructions to fix water pressure and if that did not work, (which it didn’t) he offered to call the city). All in all, again this cabin is beautifully laid out inside and out. The main attractions were the location, the beautiful view from the deck and the jacuzzi! We even spotted several deer around the cabin the morning we were leaving right off the deck which was a special treat!

Great place great getaway great for bikers!
Amazing property for anyone biking angel fire for a few days. You are literally 150 yards from the top of the diesel and turbo diesel runs. This is the best bike in bike out place we’ve ever rented. Also it’s incredibly quiet. Not even a car noise in the distance. You really can relax there and you feel like the rest of the world is far far away

Plan ahead and you'll love this place!
This house has everything you could want in a vacation rental. We enjoyed the hot tub, games, and all the touches that made it feel like home. We wish we had known how far we were from town. It takes 15 minutes on a rough, windy dirt road (watch out for car sickness!) to get to stores and restaurants. The privacy and views are worth it, just be sure to plan ahead. Stock up on a lot of groceries, and don't plan on just "popping into town" for meals.

Awesome place, great location!
First off, the place was amazing. The hot tub on the porch was great after a day of snowboarding. The ski in and ski out was pretty straight forward. We just got a TON of snow so getting in and out was quite a chore when the snow was past the knees. We had a few incidences with our stay, the host was the best though. Super responsive every single time I needed help. We got stuck on the mountain on our way in one night, Luke had me multiple numbers for people to pull us out, within minutes! The locals were helpful first thing in the morning and got us out. The place was built within the past couple years so it’s very modern and up to date. Has beautiful views. Great place to stay and by far one of the best hosts I’ve had!

Love skiing Angel Fire
We picked this VRBO for two main reasons. One, the games for the kids looked fun and they were. Two, it was listed as a ski in and ski out. It was a hike to Heading Home. It would have been ok if we didn’t have kids. The hike out is a decent workout and the ski in was easy.. The hike out was not doable for our kids. The house is on a beautiful property and we really enjoyed the beauty and privacy. Four wheel drive is a must if it is snowing.

Very responsive host - wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The host was always available with any questions or concerns we had. Coffee maker broke and there was a new one on my doorstep within an hour! The proximity to the ski slope is fantastic. A small hike allows one to drop in at the top of the terrain park. The cup de sac is currently “very” private with only the host home. Love it!!!

Worth the tough drive
Great house in a beautiful, private, and peaceful setting. The owners went the extra mile when setting this house up with so many great extra amenities that most rentals don't include. The house is close to the top of the mountain, which makes for a really long and rough gravel/rocky drive up. So plan to not make more than one trip down each day. We would absolutely stay here again though.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful cabin with a great view. They have stocked it with everything you could need. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of mountain biking. The biking trails were great and it was great to be able to bike in and out to the trails from the cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

Stylish cabin with easy access to trails
We regularly stay in Angel Fire, and this cabin exceeded our expectations. We appreciated meticulous attention to details and stylish interior design (that green tile accent wall, multi-panel sliding door with panoramic view, vintage arcade games, color coordinated kitchenware and furniture finishes). The cabin is near the summit with great views and easy access to trails, which made it easy to bike-in/out. Hot tub on a patio, a very well stocked kitchen, a nice selection of TV subscriptions, board and family games (shuffleboard was our favorite), high speed Internet made our stay even more enjoyable. The owner was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. With the NM-wide closure of national forests, Angel Fire offers a nice respite and access to nature (Angel Fire resort summer activities are open).

Great place in the mountains!!
We had a wonderful stay in this mountain Home! A unique location and a true Mountain home feel. The drive to the property is breathtaking if not the little Hairy.... but what a jewel when you land. We loved the style we love the layout the kitchen and all of the amenities were outstanding. The hot tub is first-class and what views from the deck! We enjoyed the fire pit and the gaming area. Very well-appointed with all you need for a great getaway. Thanks!!!

Great place to stay in Angel Fire!
Our family of 7 went snow skiing and the house was just right for us! The grandkids loved the loft with all the games! Ski in and ski out was as it said. A little walk up the trail and your on Heading Home! Ski right up to the house coming in! Snow wasn’t the best for the trails, but it worked great for us! Hot tub was wonderful after chasing grandkids down the slopes! Owners always answered our questions quickly! We will definitely be back!

Great cabin for Adults and kids alike!
This was the perfect cabin for both the adults and kids. It was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor deck, hot tub, and seating area. The indoor fireplace and comfortable furnishings made for a wonderful palace to relax after skiing. The upstairs loft with games was great for family/friend time. We especially enjoyed the ski in and ski out access from the cabin. Hopping onto the Heading Home ski run was perfect. We hope to come back next year.

What a gem!
I would highly recommend this place! Beautiful, secluded, clean and a postcard view everywhere you look! Property owner was courteous and on top it. He checked in with us a couple of times but honestly, he had everything covered!

Perfect holiday !
Family of 7 celebrating a late Christmas and the cabin was perfect. And the Christmas tree was such a bonus !!! Ski in ski out allowed all of us to ski at our own pace. Pet friendly so we could have our fuzzy family with us. Well stocked Kitchen and grill were perfect for cooking - a great room so everyone was involved . And the hot tub overlooking sunset through the trees - magical!! Spent the last night in a shuffleboard tournament in the upstairs game room! Perfect holiday !

OMG!!!! Best rental EVER!!!!!
Where to even start???!!! This place is the best place we have ever stayed. The house had everything and I mean everything! We played a game called "I wonder if they have...." and yeah, yeah they did. The beds were comfortable the linens were wonderful! The kitchen may have been better stocked than mine.LOL Not just stocked with stuff either, but nice dishes, cookware, silverware, containers for leftovers, etc There was plenty of firewood and blankets and seating and and and!!!! Luke was extremely helpful every step of the way. I emailed him a week or so before our trip to inquire about a crockpot and firepit. We were going to bring both but he went out and bought them for the place. Saved us a lot of room in the car. I normally do a leave-behind of something I had to buy that the house didn't have. I couldn't even really do that. They had everything! I left a roll of cling wrap and some crockpot liners. We had the best time, the place was beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. Just what we needed. The ONLY thing to note, and it isn't bad, is you should be aware of the elevation. The place is at about 10,200 feet ASL. Coming from 1700 feet, this was quite an adjustment. Drink plenty of water and maybe don't use the hot tub the first night, she said from experience. Once we got acclimated it was fine, just a rough first day. This rental was a splurge for us. A little pricier than we started out looking for but we have NO regrets! Worth every penny! Do yourself a favor.....Book it!!!!!!

Tranquility on the mountain
When we walked into the cabin we immediately knew we had chosen wisely. The open living/kitchen area with the view through the large windows onto the deck drew me in right away. The loft with all the games was such a good way to keep our boys (14 and 11) entertained; the adults had their fun up there too! The deck space was great for watching the deer that strolled through the property every day. It was quite chilly during our visit (mid-Oct) so we unfortunately didn't use the outdoor dining area but the hot tub was fabulous for warming you to the core while looking at the stars on a crisp night. There were six of us staying in the cabin and with us all rotating through the shower, the tankless hot water heater allowed us to never run out of hot water (so important!) We cooked all of our meals there and were appreciative of the fact that the kitchen was well stocked, and with quality items too! It was truly a great place; Luke was prompt in his response and very helpful when I had questions. He even reached out through a local facebook chat to find someone nearby to bake a cake for us since it was my son's birthday and I didn't want to attempt baking at that altitude (btw, the cabin sits quite a bit higher than the town of Angel Fire... my guess would be about 1,500-1,800' higher). We weren't there to ski but this would be a great spot for it since you're just a few steps from the slopes. Oh, and one of my favorite things about this cabin was that we couldn't see a single house from our deck. Loved the solitude!
