« It's impossible to find anything negative to say about Tawi Lodge. Perhaps one thing: we only had two days to enjoy it. Everything about the lodge was perfect: delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, perfect surroundings, and spacious accommodations with impressive views of Kilimanjaro. After a magnificent game drive, relaxing by the wood fire with a delicious cocktail and watching the animals come to drink at the waterhole—what more could you ask for? »

« Let me start by saying the staff and service was excellent. You could not fault them for trying to please and ensuring that they made you as welcome and comfortable as possible. But the camp itself was very run down and showers and general facilities disappointing. The blame for this has to be with the owners of the camp who have failed to spend money on decent facilities. The money we paid was not a mean amount and I am sure others paid more but really the owners need to reconsider whether or...
