Absolutely superb from top to bottom, if I was going to be really picky th3 portion size in the restaurant was a little small for me. The rest was superb and you don’t get views like that anywhere

I thought the hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly, hotel and room was clean and tidy, breakfast was good also. I couldnt fault any of the hotel. My fault was with the visitors, they were noisy, banging doors, talking loudly and walking up and down in the corridors at stupid oclock. No consideration for others in the hotel.

I thought the cost for drinks were a little on the steep side. Lager choice.. £5.50 Amstel or £6.50 Moretti 🤔 but wine 😳 Sauv £28.00 SA or £40 NZ or £12.00 or £14.00 for 250ml glass!! Staff were superb no faults there. Meals were lovely but "add on's" being offered.... £3.00 for two slice of bread!! Stayed here 3 times before but felt as if it may be our last time. 😔

The hotel looks fresh and modern, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have retained little touches that some hotels have dropped, like a good 3 course breakfast, shampoo and soap in the rooms. Great shower in our room! The only negative would be that they don't do twin rooms and the standard double is not a large bed. But, the rooms were warm but airy ( you can open the windows) and you have a marvellous view of the loch. Much better value for money than its neighbour! Definitely will be back

Had a lake view suite. Was amazing. Could not of wished for a better stay. From a total business point of view I believe the hotel should address the very negative reviews left recently on other travel sites as it nearly made us cancel our stay. Very negative reviews without response can be very damaging and I am sure lots of potential customers like ourselves read reviews and make decisions. Our stay was perfect, we will visit again, but as someone who has never stayed before, we were nearly swayed by people who have had bad experiences. I hope the hotel deal with those reviews and put peoples minds at ease. Silence is not good in these situations.

Loch view suite
Staying in the Robert Burns Suite which was huge with panoramic views of the loch and access to a terrace. Service in the restaurant on the busy Saturday night was excellent. However on the far quieter Sunday night the staff were talking to each other and we had to ask fir attention twice

I booked executive suit with talked view with double the price of ordinary room. However the room I got had the view of common area . And to get the lake view I had to go to common area. What a fraud!

Beautiful views of the loch
Beautiful view of the loch from the room. The rooms, hotel & restaurant were all decorated well & in good condition. The staff were always helpful, cheerful & efficient. We enjoyed our stay. There were a few negatives though. The soundproofing between the rooms was terrible. We were unfortunate to have someone pacing their room above ours most of the night. We also were woken by the snoring of a guest in another room. This would put us off booking again despite all the positives. The room was a bit chilly we asked for a blanket but they don’t have any so we were given a second duvet. The 3pm checkin is strict - usually if you arrive early & your room is ready you’re checked in. Here it is a definite 3pm onwards. After a long journey it would be nice to be given the room if available. The reception stops at 8pm and the doors are locked. When I stay in a hotel I do expect there to be a receptionist. A hotel can feel anonymous with no staff around & potentially unsafe for vulnerable guests. We also had difficulty getting back in as our key wasn’t working. Luckily the restaurant staff were kind enough to let us back in to the hotel.

We loved everything about Duck Bay. The staff were all fantastic. Friendly and welcoming from the ladies on reception the housekeeping and waiting staff. All lovely.

The hotel was gorgeous, food was great and staff were kind. However neither myself or my partner had a great sleep due to the comfort of the bed, unfortunately it was brick solid with pillows to match. If this was resolved I’d have gave the place a 10/10!

Even after the floods last weekend the area around the hotel was easily accessible. The staff were wonderful, most friendly and helpful. The food at main restaurant was excellent. All in all one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Modern, low-rise hotel on the western bank of Loch Lomond. Easy parking, friendly welcome and helpful team throughout the stay. Nice cafe and restaurant with loch views. Modern, spacious, well-equipped room with own veranda beside the water. Will return if ever in the area again.

Nice stay, but left a little disappointed.
Took my partner for a over night stay for her birthday, place was lovely and peaceful. The restraunt was lovely food was decent. One issue was I upgraded and paid more to have a loch view suite. We arrived and the suite was not a Loch view, the front desk confirmed that only 1 of the suites has a Loch view and it is being looked into being changed on their website.

Cramped and crowded. Rooms are so small there was no space for suitcases. No closet either. Kept being awakened because fire doors slam shut & guests above came home drunk at midnight. Restaurant is so noisy and crowded and served my gluten free meal wrong twice! Kirsty at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Property is lovely.

Ok but no super thin walls
It was ok. The room was tiny and the walls paper thin. We could hear the couple in the room next to us having sex. It wasn't muffled by the walls and everything was heard......everything. Very uncomfortable. The views of the loch were nice and the room was very clean.
