Une adresse bien située
Malgré une arrivée tardive nous avons été très bien accueillis. Les cabanes sont confortables bien qu'un peu tristounettes. Equipement de la cuisine un pru réduit en terme de vaisselle. Situation idéale, à proximité de sites magnifique.

If you're looking for a quiet place to recentre that also has stunning view, look no further. Lakeside cottage is nice & private, with an excellent sunrise view every morning, nice & cosy during the colder montjs

Overall, We're satisfied and happy with our stay. It's just that I needed to book 2 cabins instead of 1 cabin that can accomodate family of 5-6. Hoping also they got dim lights specially at night. We can't sleep with a full light on.

Thank you for your review. Three of our cabins can accommodate up to six guests, but the specific numbers must be requested so our staff can assign the appropriate cabin. We understand that booking through a third-party site can sometimes be complicated. Additionally, we avoid using outdoor lights to prevent light pollution and enhance the stargazing experience for our guests. We hope you choose to stay with us again.

We stayed one night in a Bell Tent. The tent was gorgeous and cosy, and the property/campground is absolutely stunning! A few things let us down slightly - firstly we requested an infant cot which we were told could be put in our tent but when we arrived (after hours) we found no infant cot. As the office was already closed we just had to make do but unfortunately our 1yo daughter rolled off the bed in the night and we had a terrible sleep trying to make sure she was safe. Secondly we didn’t realize the Bell tents are located the furthest from the water at the back of the property near the main road. It didn’t matter so much as we arrived when it was dark and in the morning took a drive around the lake but if you want to be right on the lake you need to book a Denver Tent instead. Otherwise the location is fantastic, the bathrooms were a close walk and very clean, and our tent was super warm and cosy.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we do not normally provide porta cots in the Bell tents due to limited space. Our staff member must have overlooked this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience it caused you and for not notifying you in advance.

Beautiful area very peaceful, sadly the bed in the bell tent was like sleeping on concrete and so uncomfortable we left 2 days early.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that guests have different preferences when it comes to mattress types. Our mattresses are of medium firmness to try to accommodate most people. We're glad you enjoyed the location.

We had a great quaint little cabin right on the lake. Be advised that there is no private bathroom and the lake noise may keep some up at night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and was glad they had a decent food truck on the grounds.

Love our glamping bell tent, it's so lovely and romantic under so many stars above. Inside the tent, we got comfortable queen size beds with nice lighting, heaters and electric changers are provided for our convenience! the keyless entry and wine glasses are a great touch!

The Camp is in a fabulous location on the edge of Lake Hawea, it is very quiet and appears to be a lovely place for children to play. However, while adequate for a 2 night stay, I wouldn’t like to stay for any longer. The cabins are tired and dated. The was only women’s 4 toilets and the same number of showers which were grubby, particularly first thing in the morning. Likewise the kitchen. I couldn’t find a clean work surface to prepare food, and the bin was overflowing. I saw a man was cleaning his shoes in the kitchen sink which was not hygienic at all.

Beautiful location on the lake. Bit of a drive into Wanaka but Lake Hawea is beautiful in its own right. Facilities were simple, comfortable and clean. Requires a walk outside to shared bathroom. Shared kitchen facilities in good shape, have to pay ~$5 for kitchen supplies and they ran out when we were there.

I booked a Glamping tent, it was as advertised and quite a nice day. Only downside was the access to toilets and showers. Majority of the showers were out of order because they didn’t have hot water, leaving only three showers for the whole site. The other was lack of Wi-Fi. I purchased a voucher for 24 hours, however Signal was not available in the room

Why would you stay in busy Wanaka when you can be in this paradise? We had a cottage which was just brilliant. Took some coffee & sat for a while just admiring the view from edge of park over the lake - wow! Girls at the desk were very helpful. Wish I could have stayed a lot longer - was at the top of all the places I stayed in NZ.

Negatives: Ablution block was too far away, especially in the dark of night. The tent was advertised with lakeview, which it did not have. Receptionist not friendly. Positives: Heater in tent, electric blankets on bed, inside of tent clean and tidy.

Great location. I stayed in a bell tent and it ticked all the glamping boxes including a mess tent and fire pit. They have plenty of other accomodation to choose from. Super handy to the lake and highly recommend booking in at The Secret Sauna too. Lovely, friendly staff. Would stay again and highly recommend.
