Près de l'Université d'Albany
Nous avions une suite 2 chambres, un salon et une cuisine complète. La suite était grande. Les lits étaient assez confortables, par contre le divan-lit ne l'était pas. Il manquait des draps pour le divan-lit, nous en avons demandé à la réception. La chambre était assez propre, par contre nous avons trouvé 2 scarabés dans une des chambres. L'état de l'hôtel et des chambres étaient médiocres. Le tout a besoin de rénovation puisque les portes de chambres ne fermaient pas, les fenêtres étaient décellées, les tapis abimés, un des lit avait du métal qui dépassait de la base de lit et mes enfants se sont blessés dessus. etc.. La suite était par contre très calme, pas de bruit la nuit. Le déjeuner gratuit était assez bien et il ne manquait de rien. Nous avons été mal accueillis à l'hôtel par une dame qui était bête, aucun sourire et on sentait qu'on la dérangeait.

The young lady at the desk was extremely nice, but the building and the room smelled so bad of disinfectant we could hardly breath. The room was not as advertised. One queen bed which looked clean and a small sofa bed with torn arms and the carpets were so dirty. The advertised kitchen had no utensils or dishes and glassware.

They are in the midst of selling and renovated the property and would never stay again. The room smelled horrible and it was clear they were airing at the room since the windows were wide open when I arrived. Front desk staff is only available between 10am-6pm so not very convenient for working people. There was NO toilet paper, the shower DIDN'T WORK, and the iron was broken. They offer for you to trek across their parking lot to ask for help from another hotel. Was horrible and would never stay again.

Hallways were run down and smelled like old Chinese food. Had to keep the windows in my room open to get rid of the smell, window screens were ripped. The room itself was adequately cleaned, not pristine, but I was pleasantly surprised due to the state of the property.

I actaully booked a room through Expedia. With that if someone books through them they cancel out the third party. I was not updated. I showed up, thought he just pronounced my name wrong and gave me a room key after asking if he could charge my card on file i said yes and wenr ro my room. About 20 min later he comes to the room and says the card didn't go through, i knew that was incorrect so i followed him down. Upon rechecking the reservation i was put into someone elses room and additionally they were in fact sold out of rooms and i was to go across the parking lot to another hotel where they would fulfill my reservation. I was not emailed called or informed of this at any point. I have to gather my rhings and go to the hotel across the parking lot. What sucked was I was in a suite which was what i wanted and was directed to an Inn. Don't get me wrong it was clean but not the suite with a kitchenette that i wanted. When i arrived to the new hotel they had no reservation for me waiting 10 minutes they found an unopened email about my situation and to book me a room there. Luckily they had a couple of regular rooms left so i at least had something. So it was very disappointing how it was handled. So i would say book through them on phone

Checked in just before midnight. Got up to the room and there was no towels no wash clothes no soap and there was milk and food left in the refrigerator from the previous person. I went down to the desk because there is no phone in the room. I get to the desk and there is nobody there for the rest of the night. Did you ever hear of such a thing? So I'm stuck all night can't take a shower or bath. I go to the desk at 10 in the morning still nobody there. I go back at 11am and finally someone is there. I explain the whole thing and she grabs a towel and tells me check out is at 11.

Smells like cigarettes and weed , stairs going into the building are filthy. Front desk only open till 6pm pros is there’s a full kitchen with a stove refrigerator ,microwave and cutlery so you can cook.

Horrible, dirty, no assistance from nonexistent staff. Checked in after 6pm so had to go to neighboring hotel to pick up keys. Got to room and the couch was not a sofa bed, as advertised. No extra sheets or pillow cases or blankets and upholstery cover on love seat was filthy. So me and my adult son had to share a bed. We had brought food to prepare for dinner, but there were no dishes. The only dishes we found were gross dirty ones in the dishwasher (see picture.) There were no trash cans anywhere in the room. No extra toilet paper and no tissues at all. No free breakfast available as advertised. Unsecure wifi. "Workout" room was disgusting. Halls and stairways were unclean and smelled of smoke. All of this and nobody was at front desk or would answer front desk phone, nobody was available at all to assist- even during their stated business hours. I have called several times since we left and nobody ever answers, you cannot leave voicemail and no email address available. The only number they offer for after hours service is for the handyman to fix plumbing leaks, etc. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. This hotel is more of a long term apartment facility and they have no real staff to assist with any issue you might have. I would avoid this terrible facility when traveling through/to Albany.

It was nice that our room was set up for extended stay - kitchen with frig, microwave and stove. The front desk staff very friendly and tried to helpful the best they could. Unfortunately our room had no coffee or creamer, no blanket on the bed. Some of the items in the kitchen cabinets were of questionable origin. It was kind of like they were completely prepared for the room to be occupied. None of the table lamps were plugged in and their cords were coiled and stuck through the base of the lamp. No coffee served in the lobby before 10 am on Sunday morning. Seems a tad late. A little more attention to the details in this room and it would have been great. We just slept with the heat turned up in absence of a blanket.

The property is not clean. The hallway was filthy. The elevator was dirty and it broke down. The 1st room was dusty. The heater was broke and the installation was hanging out of it. The 2nd room was dusty but ok. The whole property needs to be upgraded. Also my key stopped working had to go next door to the other property to get someone to fix my key. No staff working the front desk at night. Did not feel safe at all

This property was such in horrible condition, I had to book another hotel. I could not stand how dirty it was. The couches had lots of dust on them, when I took a picture with the flash it looked ashy. The bathroom was not cleaned, it had hair in the bathtub. The bedroom has a musty smokey smell and it did not look like it was sanitised properly.

This property confirmed my Orbitz reservation, but then did not answer the phone the entire afternoon, and did not leave the key at the Fairfield next door for me to pick up like they were supposed to. I’m glad I was able to pivot and that there were rooms available at the hotel next door, but this was not how I wanted to spend my evening after driving for hours. There has to be a better system in place so that this does not continue to happen, it happened to me last week as well. Thankfully Orbitz has been very helpful getting these bookings refunded, but it’s a hassle I’d rather not continue to go through.

This hotel could definitely use some upgrades. Besides overnight guests it accommodates extended stay visits. When we arrived at 9 pm the door was locked with a note saying to check in at Fairfield Inn. After trudging over to Fairfield I was told someone was there and to use the phone. So we went back I opened the phone box only to find NO phone. We finally got in after knocking on the door. The sheets were clean, the beds were fine. Had some issues with enough blankets for our room. Was told the hotel was booked to capacity and that’s why the issue. The toilet leaked for no apparent reason and had to get wet Vac’d at midnight. When I closed the door to my room the window fell out. Didn’t make me feel very safe as the area seemed “sketchy”. The one gentleman staff was very helpful. Thats our story!

I was very disappointed in my stay there. I even ended up checking out early and paying for a near by hotel. When I arrived, though the staff were great and very vice to me, the room it’s self was not at all what I imagined. There was a stranger brown stains in the tub, the ironing board literally was in pieces, the sheets covering the mattress had what appeared to be a stain of fecal matter, there were no blankets on the pull out couch the sink had substances unknown in it and there was black bugs all on the wall. I was too tired after my drive the first night to fuss but I just woke up the next day and left as soon as I could. Absolutely positively the worst stay I’ve ever had at a hotel.

The room reeked of a foul-smelling cleaning product. The bed had only a thin coverlet over the top sheet, real blanket (and this was late September). Desk is often not staffed, so you have to walk next door to the Fairfield Inn when you need something

They do not clean properly, nor do they clean if previous person smoked. We booked because they allowed for pets and had kitchens. But our bags, clothes, everything stunk of old cigarette smoke just from being in the room. I could go around the room and show them how filthy and in need of deep clean the room was. I even sprayed lisol into the ac to no avail, it pumped old cigarette smell into the air.

The staff was very nice. The room smelled of smoke and was dirty. I was given an air freshener which helped. They tried to be attentive. I got the impression that the property is used as housing for low income tenants so it does not have the gracious ambience of a vacation or business hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. There is no one ever sitting at the front desk. They are either outside or behind the door next to the front desk. The building smells when you get in and the room smells even worse. Nothing was wiped down. There was garage underneath the couch and under the bed. Dishes were still in the dish washer. The pillows had mold on them. Everything felt wet. The screens on the windows had bandaids where there were holes. Went to open the bathroom and the handle fell off. Took out the pull out couch and there were stains all over it. No toliet paper or towels. There was a thin sheet on the bed which I thought was the blanket. I went to the front desk to ask for another one and the man have me a comforter. So they never finished making my room up. There was dogs bathing and people telling at night/ morning. I only started because it was a quick trip and I already paid for it. I went to check out on my last day and the office was locked at 10:30am? No worker in sight. I couldn't wait to leave.

The main entrance was quite difficult to find - there is a small sign that says Welcome that we missed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We checked-in only to find the room had only been partially cleaned. They made it right by giving us another room right away and explained the cleaning person had been called away by a family emergency. Totally understandable. The new room was cleaner, but also worn. The couch and chair both had covers on them, and there were other signs of the room having been well used over time. But, it was clean, inexpensive, and we were perfectly fine staying overnight while moving our son into the dorms at UAlbany.

Best location for our trip, conveniently located and local amenities were a short drive. This is an extended stay location and is well used. Though maintained it could use some updating.
