Nous étions dans un cabanon extérieur sans isolation pour le bruit a 10 mêtres d'un rond point sur un boulevard très passant donc beaucoup de bruit et de la difficulté a dormir

Wir schliefen in einer Hütte im Garten, die direkt an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße und einem Pizza Lieferservice angrenzte, bei dem sehr viel los ist und ständiger Verkehr herrscht. Wir hatten zwar eine schöne Terrasse, aber keine Sitzgelegenheiten (Möbel). Und dadurch war sie leider nicht nutzbar. Das Personal war nicht per Mail erreichbar. Den Whirlpool konnten wir auch nicht nutzen, da wir keinen Schlüssel dazu hatten, bzw. uns keine Auskunft gegeben wurde wo wir einen Schlüssel erhalten.

TV non connessa. Doccia e cucina non fruibile. Casetta posta di fronte a decine di bidoni rifiuti, rumorosa perché sulla strada. Salti mortali per accedere al microonde. Materasso troppo elastico, che scivola continuamente. Prezzo esagerato. Consigliato solo in caso di necessità

In our trip around the ring road, Akureyri Cottages was the nicest property at which we stayed. We had a party of 5 and there was plenty of room to spread out. It was by far the best value for the $$$. The cottage had its own washer and dryer and they were free to use. We had use of a private hot tub. The property also has a nice patio with a grill. It would be a great place to use as a home base if you are spending more than one night in Akureyri. I highly recommend.

The cootage was nice and we hgad alittle toilet and basin for ourselves. The shared kitchen was not to our taste since it was so full on our first day. We than packed plates, forks and knifes to have breakfast in our Cottage. When we came back in the evening the Hosts gave us fresh kithen towels for our dishes without us needing to ask them for it. The staff was nice and helpfull. The bunk bed seemed a Little insecure but I sleeped well.

Our kitchen can get busy sometimes but fortunately guests are considerate of each other and things usually go smoothly even on busy times - but I am happy to hear that you found a solution that worked for you. The bunk bed is safe but when we open the small cottage again next summer we will surely take a look to make sure everything is in good condition and safe. We hope you enjoyed your time in Iceland

Charming, immaculate accommodations
The email communication prior to our arrival was helpful. We were given clear instructions on the check-in process and everything went smoothly upon arrival. Our cottage was immaculate. The one thing that we misunderstood when booking was that the toilet and sink are in the small cottage, but the shower is located in the main building. If that was explained anywhere in the hotels.com listing, or in the pre-arrival communications, I completely missed it. The property is managed as part of an adjacent hostel, and a shared shower is common in hostels, but I didn’t expect it in the cottages. A simple change in the listing to “shared shower” might be helpful for others. Would I stay again? Absolutely. We liked it!

Una cabaña preciosa, con mucho espacio y posibilidad de usar una terma en el exterior. Fácil acceso desde la carretera N1 y con supermercados y restaurantes cercanos. El baño no tiene toallas ni productos de higiene (posibilidad de alquilar)

We loved this place
Our cottage felt like a mansion - roomy, woodsy and warm. We were only there for a night, but wished we could've stayed for a week. Access to a hot tub, included, and washer/dryer was great for freshening up our clothes. Service was clear from the start and gave us a map without asking of the town explaining likely place we might want to visit. One note of caution: Stairway to bunks in loft has narrow steps, so be careful.

Private Cottage in town centre, Bring pillow cases
Cozy cute little wooden out house in the backyard of a hostel. There is a toilet and a sink inside the house but for bath and kitchen you have to walk outside to get to the hostel. And because it's a hostel they don't provide sheet covers, pillow cases and towels so come prepared. The place is conveniently located at the town centre and gives you a downtown parking pass if you drive.

Thank you for your rate and response, We do offer bed linen and sheets in the price, the only thing we do not include in the hostel are the towels, but you can rent them at the reception, I'm very sorry if there where no bed linen or sheets in the small cabin when you where staying, Have a great day :)

Casa molto spaziosa e accogliente, dotata di ogni comfort: cucina ben attrezzata, lavatrice e lavastoviglie( ma senza detersivo), hot tube, TV, asciugacapelli. Vengono fornite le lenzuola ma non gli asciugamani. Distanza dal centro circa 15 minuti a piedi. Nelle vicinanze ci sono un supermercato Bonus e un domino pizza.

Thank you for your rate and response, i'm sorry if the car noises kept you awake and hopefully everything else was okay, but since the hostel is almost in the center town it is a well known fact that a car noise is bound to be there.

Fantastiske Nord Island
Fantastisk å oppleve Akureyri. Vi ankom innen innsjekktiden, men døren var låst og vi kom oss inn ved hjelp av en annen gjest. Det kan de bli bedre på. Koden til ytterdør var også glemt å skrive på i vår konvolutt , men ellers var alt helt topp.

Comfortable cottage with hottub
We had one of the cottages, which has 3 bedrooms. Clean and spacious and well equiped kitchen. Nice living room with a big couch. There was a hottub which was very enjoyable during the evenings.

Highly recommended
There are two cottages in this hostel. We stayed at cottage Akur. It is extremely comfy and spacious with three rooms. There is laundry machine in the cottage so it helps a lot! Supermarket- Bonus is very close by.

Good step driving ring road nice cottage and warm bath available . Just six bed instead of seven of the reservation but confortable anyway and staff so kind to give more information about activities and milestone of the akureyeri area

Nice small cabil
We only stayed for one night but we really liked the small cabin we rented and wished we stayed more. The place is really clean, you get enough smace for 2 people, with toilet and sink. There is a table with 3 chairs as well. We really liked it.

Небольшой коттедж в северной "столице" Исландии - городе Аккурейри. Приятный персонал, чистый коттедж, уютная атмосфера. Белье - за дополнительную плату. Туалет, дущ и кухня в соседнем здании в 10 метрах от коттеджа. Рядом - большой продуктовый магазин Bonus (одна из самых дешевых сетей на острове).

Perfect stay. We had the whole apartment to ourselves and it includes a free hot bath jacuzzi as well. Highly recommended.

Great cottage!
We stayed in one of the two cottages and it was so nice and clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. She even came to our cottage laterm in the evening to tell us about the favorable Northern Lights forecast. There is a discount grocery store across the street so we bought our food and the cottage was well equipped for us to make our own meals. They even had a high chair and crib available for my 1 year old. I would definitely go back again.
