Akumal is a small, easily walkable town, taking about 30-45 minutes to traverse from end to end. If you prefer not to walk, bikes and golf carts are available for rent locally. Renting a car is highly recommended, as there are many places to explore in the area. Alternatively, you can call a taxi, flag down a collectivo on the main highway, or take a public bus from one of the designated stops.
