« Super ryokan niché dans la montagne de zao. Pas si facile d'accès sans voiture (bus et bouchons depuis Yamagata). Néanmoins cela vallait le coup : très beau lieu tout confort. Litterie impeccable, bâtiment propre et surtout un repas merveilleux !! Le onsen est très jolie mais le bain extérieur est très très chaud. « This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever stayed. The lounge was filled with tasty treats and drinks in the afternoons and outside was a beautiful area with a foot bath. The hot springs were wonderful and the kaiseki dinners were amazing. The hotel staff members were very accommodating and gracious when dealing with a mixup about the reservation. « I recently stayed at "Kappa no Yado Ryokan Sanjiro" in Zao during my trip to Sendai. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend this inn! First off, our room was incredibly clean and tidy, which made for a really comfortable stay. Cleanliness really makes a difference when you're trying to unwind from travel, and they nailed it.
